I need peace, for once, was a line I listened to from one of my favourite Tiktoks Poet.
Peace, the entire concept of that world has been foreign to me for a while. Peace, what does it means to have peace, to be at peace. For a very long time, I have romanticised chaos, made it beautiful. Do not get me wrong, Chaos can be beautiful, but I no longer want to see the beauty in it, I need Peace.
I so badly want Peace, that I can feel my thirst in my tongue, the anticipation of what it'll be like to finally have peace. To be whole and peacefully so.
I have gone through various stages of my life, the pain, the hurt, the chaos, the guilt, the loss, the confusion. I can only hope that it's my time for Peace.
