Backstory Little Ryo was born Zou with his mother who was a fox mink and his father who was a human so he was born as mainly human with animal characteristics he also seemed to of taken on a more androgynous appearance When he grows up and is about 5 years old his mother dies and father dies because of an illness (this is really just because I wouldn't make them part of the story) Ryo in sadness leaves zou and tragedy strikes but a certain old man saves him and then raised and trains the child half mink until his past comes back to haunt him so his now adopted father and mother figure get him a ship and tell him to set off to sea and during which He ends up in the east blue with our awesome rubber boy and his green haired caretaker Then he eventually finds a tsundere black haired brother and his nice blond haired brother He then goes on adventures with them Watches Sabo die which makes him even more distressed The three remaining brothers all make a vow to get stronger and they all leave one by one to become pirates first Ace leaves and then Ryo soon after at the age of 17 Ryo sets of too the sea and then three years later he has an encounter with his rubber brother and fulfils a promise
