After their first successful attack, the army soon went in to take down the pirates. It was going to be the best success ever. Especially as they're going to take down the pirates. Both sides clashed with each other and fought hard.
So were their machines that they have kept. Thanks to the help of some smarties, the machines got overpowered by the giants. Allowing for the other humanoids to fight back too. Using their sturdiness and smarts to the advantage too.
Most of the pirates retreated, not wanting to face the wrath of any of the humanoids. The machines got destroyed in the process too. Now the pirates were powerless as they all retreated.
