The sound of a message from her
makes your ears joyfully ring
like the morning after a gig
she types
it makes your body shiver
like the first guitar riff
the lights go out
your brain screams as
you read her message
you throw yourself into the mosh pit
fists flying
blood spilling
you give everything to her
at the end of the night
you are bruised and scrapped
and your throat is sore
but you love her more than anyoneWhy can't people understand that?
