This is it

Playing music is my escape.

I mean that's what everyone's escape is, right?

Playing music is my life.

Yeah, sure it is.

But it IS!

One can learn in music that in order to play music you need to practice and learn your part first,

then come back and learn the rest of the melodies and harmonies that others have practiced.

But isn't that what life is about?

Isn't this what we do every single day?

From birth we're taught to understand and practice who we are as an individual.

When we walk across that stage with our certificates in our hands,

we then go into "the real world" to learn what others have practiced.

Sometimes those melodies and harmonies don't even fit

but that's why you have a lifetime to find the right one that does!

One day it will all fit!

It has to!

And when it does fit,

when we're grey, we'll look back and say

"Music truly IS my life."
