FIRST PLACE:
with a score of 82.5/110...

RyanChimes's All Hallows' Evening

Although the pacing was a bit too slow for me (nothing much happens in the first 5 chapters), I was engaged by the narrative. I wanted to hear more from the characters (dialogue), but the exposition kind of replaced that. You've got a promising premise, with teen spirits taking over Halloween.

SECOND PLACE:
with a score of 74.5/110...

Writix22's Halloween Chills - The Graveyard Queen

The story was interesting with Desi's sinister friends and the puzzling ending. A lot of questions arise from it, like what did Adam do for him to suffer that fate? The plot was intriguing, but I didn't understand why the title is 'The Graveyard Queen'. Desi is at most a witness, nor did I see any person as the Queen...so I'm a bit confused with the title. Nevertheless, the protagonist is realistic and I did bond with her. The narrative was good too.

THIRD PLACE:
with a score of 74/110...

-rainydqys-'s Veiled By Darkness

Since one of the winners withdrew from the competition at the last minute, the judge did not have a chance to prepare a write-up for the new third place winner. Thank you for your understanding!
