Danny and Lindsay Messer

Chapter 1

"Danny?" I called through our NYC apartment tiding away Caleb's skateboard and Lucy's dolls.
"In here babe" he called back, I could here him humming to himself and laughing.
I walked into our kitchen and saw Lucy sitting on the counter dipping her fingers into the pancake batter.
I jumped on to Danny's back and held on with my legs tightly "Hey Montana, sleep well" he said kissing me.

Caleb walked in and made a face "Oh god, Mom don't do that with Luc here" he said picking Lucy up and spinning her round.

Just then our doorbell rang and I walked towards the door, I stepped quickly out of the way as it was kicked right in to our hall.
"Well hello Mrs Messer!" Shane Casey said pointing his gun at my head I raised my hands and prayed that he wouldn't shoot,Danny came into the hall and was at first shocked then angry.
"Let her go you son of a bitch!!" He said spitting the words out, "Caleb keep Lucy with you!!" Danny yelled back into the kitchen.
"Your supposed to be dead!!" I yelled getting angry and lowering my hands slightly.
Shane laughed manically and fired his gun above me at the ceiling sending plaster on to me.
"LINDSAY!!" I heard Danny yell. I saw him grab his police firearm off of the table and he cocked it aiming at Shane's heart.
"Do that again and I am gonna fire this bullet right into your heart" Danny yelled.
I felt a hand on the back of my neck and looked up "Stella?" I said coughing.
"Hey kid, we thought you could need back up" she said raising her gun towards Shane.
