"Order for...Taylor" The barista called out as Taylor walked up to the counter and took her drink and made her way to her seat before bumping into someone... familiar
"Oh sorry-" "Its okay" the voice said as Taylor looked up from her book "....Damian?" She asked as she immediately recognized the voice "Taylor? Holy shi-" Damian cut himself off when he realized his son as around "Hey Taylor, how have you been?" Damian asked, his voice sounding abit excited, the two hadn't seen each other for quite sometime "Auntie TayTay!" Nathaniel said as he hugged Taylor "Hey Nathan" Taylor greeted as she took another sip from her drink as the three sat down in a booth nearby

Nathan or Nathaniel was drawing in his sketchpad as his father and Taylor talked "So Taylor, you got a new song coming up?" Damian asked while stirring his drink as Taylor nodded "Afew new songs while working on the rereleases" Taylor said as Damian smiled "Nathan wont stop listening to your 1989 rerelease" Damian said as Nathan began humming "style" as Taylor was touched "Does Nathan want to make his own music one day?" Taylor asked as Nathan nodded "Nathan actually helped me with one of my songs" Damian said as he ruffled Nathans hair which resulted into the boy nearly biting his dads fingers "which song?" Taylor asked "Paris in the rain" Nathan said as Taylor smiled softly "Paris in the rain is definitely one of my favorites" Taylor said as she took a sip from her drink "The contrast between your solo songs and when you sing with your band is pretty amazing how your voice shifts" Taylor added as Damian laughed "Im just that good i guess but your definitely better" Damian said as he took a sip fron his drink and Taylor laughed

The three spent the morning talking about work and taking pictures or giving off autographs to fans
"Auntie Taylor, would you and dad colab?" Nathan asked as the two adults kinda just looked at each other and shrugged "We'll consider it-" "Dad! Theres cotton candy!" Nathan cut off his father as he excitedly pointed out a vendor selling cotton candy nearby "Well, i guess it wont hurt right?" Damian said as Taylor nodded and walking up to the vendor

After buying some cotton candy, the two adults kinda just sat down and watched Nathan play with other kids in the playground "im happy hes socializing you know?" Damian said as he took another bite from his cotton candy "Yeah, i feel you, it must be hard to take care of a kid after the divorce" Taylor said as she also took a bite from her cotton candy "she took everything from me, well aside from Nathan" Damian said as he rubbed his head as Taylor pat his shoulder "Where are you both staying right now?" Taylor asked "A apartment my friend let me rent for a while, but if i dont manage to get a new place im gonna be on the streets for some time" Damian said as he sighed and Taylor thought of an idea "you can stay with me" Taylor suggested which made Damian's eyes widen "What? Are you insane?" Damian asked "Taylor i cant-" "yes you can, i wont mind it" Taylor said as Damian still denied to but Taylor insisted "c'mon, were friends after all, it wouldn't hurt" Taylor said as Damian still shook his head "you said you didn't want to be shipped with anyone right? Thats like...how you get shipped with someone 101" Damian explained as Taylor laughed "i wouldn't mind it if it was you" Taylor asked as she raised an eyebrow and smirked "are you flirting with me?" Damian asked before Taylor laughed "Maybe, you'll never know" Taylor teased as Damian hid his face in his hands "C'mon Damian, It wouldn't hurt" Taylor said as Damian sighed "Fine fine, if it makes you happy" Damian said as Taylor smiled at him "So you just casually offer a friend a place to live?" Damian asked with a smirk "what? You practically have no where to go, besides we've known each other for a long long time now, im very comfortable with you" Taylor reassured as Damian sighed "Thanks Tay" Damian smiled as Taylor shrugged and said she was happy to help
