" whyyy " i pouted rolling around my bed
" because you haven't went out in years and you can take this as a chance to meet new people " she said " You don't have a choice. Your going now get ready"
i guess she's right
i rolled my eyes getting out of the bed and going into my closet looking for a dress.
i found a sage green dress and decided that it would be cute enough to wear at a wedding.
I took a shower and got dressed, beginning to fix my hair. i chose to do a side swooped bun with some strings of hair hanging out
i walked out of my room and into my mothers room to see if she was ready
"look at youu, all dressed up " she grabbed my arms spinning me around making me blush
" give me a couple of minutes and we can head out " I nodded my head walking out of the room and stood in the hallway mirror taking pictures.
i haven't been to a wedding before so i don't know if i should expect a small group or big group of people, either way im really nervous
" ok let's go" my mom walked out of her room with her purse in her hands
i took my sweet time walking out of the house which caused her to grab my arm and drag me to the the car.
" look i know you haven't really been around people since school ended but honestly i think this could help you a little " i heard her say as soon as she got in the car
i simply nodded my head not agreeing even a little
we pulled up to a giant hall which was decorated with light red and sage green

their wasn't that much people outside of the building but once we entered the building their was people everywhere i turned
" Gloria! i'm so glad you came, is this saraii? " a lady that i assumed was the bride came up to my mother and me
" it is! finally got her out of the house " my mother said dramatically rolling her eyes, i mugged her
" that's great, come with me i'll introduce you to my son. Kyree! " She directed us towards this group of kids that looked around my age or so. one stood up which i'm guessing was her son
" Kyree this is Gloria. My friend that i told you travels a lot due to her job, this is her daughter saraii " she pointed towards me, making all the attention go on me.

my mother slapped my hand a little making me give them a little wave
" she doesn't know anybody here so i want you and your friends to keep her company "she told him
" aight bet " he said. Both of our moms walked away and i just stood there in an awkward standing position
" This is my man's Koby, he don't really talk, and this is Rae, she like to act gay so if she say some shit to you don't really pay attention to it. The rest of them is my cousins Sarah, Anthony, and Cole"
" My names Saraii but you can just call me raii " i said keeping it short
i sat down on the only empty seat i saw around us and got on my phone blocking out the people around me
" aye everybody getting their seats for the wedding to start, you coming ?" Kyree shook my shoulder asking
i nodded my head and stood up stretching. I found my mom sitting towards the front and sat next to her
the silence was killing me so i decided to ask her a question " who's her bridesmaids "
" the 3 in the front are her sisters and the last 3 are her closest cousins. I would name them all but i always forget " She told me
The wedding began and i really wasn't enjoying it. I decided to sneak my way out of here and just chill outside
" i needa use the bathroom " i whispered to my mom
" okay. do you need someone to help you find it ?"
i quickly shook my head " no ill find it myself "
she nodded my head and i got up walking away trying not to make it obvious that i was going outside
I successfully snook outside and was leaning on a ramp wall. I heard footsteps to the left of me making me turn my head in that direction.
one of the boys that kyree introduced me to who i thinks name was koby, came outside and started smoking a blunt
i guess he felt me looking at him cause he looked up at me with a mug on his face. i looked away and started staring at the floor
