"One, two, three, four and good. That was very nice but let's go over it again because something is missing. Maybe extend that last turn and then switch into a illusion" Advised Marie
With Internationals in just a few weeks, The Next Step were working on a trio that might be needed at any given moment. The vagueness of this competition meant that the dancers had to be ready for whatever was thrown their way and that meant creating an arsenal of great performances just in case.
Marie stood in the studio with Kate watching the rehearsal as the studio head was making Giselle, Thalia and Amanda run through the dance again for like the fifth time using her corrections.
Marie:
"I'm at the studio right now because Kate asked me to come and watch the trio and give them some advice. Out of everyone on this team, I'm the most experienced when it comes to Internationals and their tricks because I've been there before"
The dance itself wasn't bad but it just lacked a certain sparkle towards it. It was kinda bland to watch from an audience perspective, so if they found it to be boring then what would the judges thinks about it when it reached on stage. The technique was good but the girl couldn't help but see that all of the acro moves were very limited, it was as if they were all baby beginners.
