7. 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓲𝓬𝓮

My sleep was rudely interrupted by someone shaking me awake disturbing my very needed slumber. As I turned over expecting my brother, I was surprised to see Miranda stood above me.

"Get UP Vaeh. Damn!"

"Ugh, I'm not going to school Mira. I don't feel well" I said lying. In reality, I didn't want to go to school because I didn't want to see Alex's stupid face after the stunt he pulled yesterday.

"Well, tough cuz I'm not going to that shithole myself so get up" she said pulling me off my bed. I stayed in my bed debating on whether to go or not as I felt Miranda sit next to me.

"Listen Vaeh. You gotta get over Alex. You can't let a man, no not even a man, a boy like Alex make you feel like this cuz no man is worth your tears girl. You gotta show him what he's missing out on" she said as I lay on the floor taking in what she said. realising my worth.

"Damn, I really gotta stop falling for the bad ones, don't I?" I said pushing myself up off the floor and heading to my bathroom. I turned on the shower and let the water warm up before heading back to my room.

"So what actually happened betweeen you guys?" Miranda said sitting on my bed, playing with my stuffed toy.

"Well, we've been talking and flirting with each other for what, maybe a couple weeks now and he's been saying things like 'imma wife you up soon' and 'imma make you my girl' and 'you're all mine' but then I'm catching him kissing Heather on the cheek and giving her flowers despite already getting my parents blessing to proceed with our relationship. Like what the fuck is actually wrong with him. Why would you make all those promises and even give me a ring if you know you weren't serious about me" I said ranting

"Well at least now we know one thing" Miranda said getting up and going to my closet to pick and outfit for me

"What?"

"You're about to enter your bad bitch era"

------ TIME SKIP ------

Me and Miranda were sat in class talking but we quietened down when our teacher began to talk.

"Alright, alright. Settle down. It's Monday and we've got alot to get through. But first and foremost is signing up for your madatory community service project."

"More like community suck-vice" Brandt said interrupting the teacher and I turned around and gave him a obvious fake laugh before he turned around embarrassed.

"I doubt that you will be saying that when you hear these extremely cool options. Okay, Sam's dad is delivering food to the homeless"

"PB&J making party at my house" he said trying to copy Brandt but the class just looked at him with second hand embarrassment. I looked at Miranda to see that she was already looking at me and we burst out laughing at Sam.

"Yeah... alright. There's a river trash pick up. You can scrape gum off..."

As he zoned off, I turned to Miranda curious as to what she was gonna choose to do before the teacher said the last option.

"And finally, Heather's mom is hosting a fashion show at the nursing home" he said as the girls started to squeal. I rolled my eyes on pretended to vomit at Miranda as she laughed.
