I'm excited to go to sophomore orientation. But it's still a day away. Just as the th about it comes up my best friend Angela texts.
"Hey girlie wanna hang out tomorrow afternoon"
I haven't seen her all summer. When I think about it I haven't seen or talked to anyone this break besides my brother. But he's always in his room. And my parents are always at work. I'm just excited to go back to school just for the human interaction. Just someone saying hello or good morning. My friends have been busy. My boyfriend just got back from Las Vegas because that's were his family went to vacation. Every time I tried calling I'd just get one word response and he'd say he was busy. I figured that he wanted to enjoy his summer with his family. I don't want to be nagging him all the time.
Angela shoot I totally blanked, I forgot to text her back.
We have that orientation tomorrow at school.
Oh yea I'll see you there Marie. I gonna go get some sleep its like at 8 am ugh I'm not ready to wake up early again.

I turn off my phone get ready for bed and drift off.
