Ch.7 The Warning

I woke up the next morning with Chris's arms wrapped around me. I smiled as I turned around to face him as he slept so peacefully I kissed his nose. I then got outta bed as my phone vibrated and lit up with hella happy birthday messages and shout outs. I decided that this day had to be perfect and I prayed and hoped that nothing would make this day go wrong. I got in the shower and did all my morning hygienes then walked downstairs to see that Chris was doing his morning workout. He wore basket ball shorts with no shirt doing sit ups. I bit my lip as I sat next to him watching him do his sit ups. "Good Morning my lady" he said as he stopped crawling over to me kissing me passionately. I kissed back smiling "Good morning my love how are you this morning?". "I'm great never felt better did you enjoy last night as much as I did?" He said smirking." Yea thank you baby I needed that" I said rubbing his cheek. "Anything for my queen" he said missing my hand as I rubbed his face. It went silent for a moment as we stared into each others eyes I waited for him to wish me happy birthday but after a while he had forgotten. "Aren't you gonna say something" I said hopping he would catch on. "Say what? oh yea I love you" he said pecking my lips. I then looked down with disappointment I never thought my own husband after 3 years would forget my birtgday. I got up and grabbed my things about to walk out the door. "Hey? What's wrong? What I say?" He said walking up to me."Nothing I gotta go to work now and I love you too" I said walking to my car. He then followed behind me grabbing my arm." What a minute baby what's going on?" he said looking into my teary eyes. "Nothing I'm fine OK just go back to your work out I'll see you later" I said whipping my tears. "Baby..." he said pulling me closer to him. I forced myself away from his grip running to my car pulling off on my way to work. I turned up the music and the song "I Bet" by Ciara came on as I cried and sobbed on my way to work. 20 minutes later after sitting in traffic I arrived to work making my way inside to my office until Karis came up to me with a gift bag "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEST FRIEND BITCH" she yelled out making me laugh "thank you K you didn't have to get me anything I know I've been a real pain in the ass lately". "Oh girl please you my best friend no matter how many times I may argue with you you'll always be my best friend we promised remember" she said holding her friendship bracelet up. "Yea I remember thanks for understanding and thanks for the gift" I said hugging her. " your welcome but to make it up to me I want you to come to the club with me tonight they got a new that just opened up come with me please" she begged. "I have so much work to do and I-". She folded her arms and sighed in disappointment." OK fine I'll come" I said smiling. "THANK YOU OMG ITS FINNA BE TURNT TONIGHT" she said dancing." Alright alright alright get back to work is my 9:00 meeting here yet?" I said checking the time. "No they said there running a little late cuz traffics bad". "I believe them I just got out of it 5 minutes ago" I said walking to my desk spotting roses and a card on my desk."He remembered" I whispered. "Remembered what?" Kari's said looking at the roses. "My birthday this morning I thought he had forgotten it was today but I guess I was wrong I feel bad I treated him like shit this morning" I said frowning sitting in my chair."looks like someone owes someone an apology I'll see you later" Karis said closing my office door. I smiled at the roses smeeling them then picking up the card about to open it until a call comes through on my phone. It was an unknown. "Hello this is Madison Brown how may I help you?" I answered. "Hey sexy happy birthday" a familiar voice responded. "Who is this" I said hopping it wasnt who i thought it was. "Its papi Trey did you get the flowers I sent you I knew roses was your favorite" he said evilly."Trey I'm gonna need you to stop calling,texting, and sending gifts to me I said throwing the flowers away. "I can't do that baby remember we had an agreement" he said chuckling. "I didn't agree to anything" I said getting pissed off. " I figured you might say that open the envelope" he said as I opened the envelope to a hold bunch of pictures of Trey and I having sex. "Trey you listen to me this is going way to far now" I said getting nervous. "Aww what's wrong baby girl afraid yo little boy friend might find out our little secret" he said sounding like a baby. "Trey please I'm begging you don't do this" I begged him. " you have 2 days left or else the pictures are going up and we wouldn't want that so I suggested you figure it out quick" he said sireously. "I'm not telling Chris about us why do you wanna do this what are you hopping to get outta this" I said wondering. "I want us together I've been over this before your gonna be mine rather you want to or not I can change that real quick" he said he said with no hesitation. "You knew I had a husband from the beginning and all of a sudden you want me to just up and leave Chris for you". "What's he got that I don't" he said getting frustrated. "My heart" I said starting to cry. " DOES HE HAVE YOUR HAPPINESS TOO?" he said yelling through the phone." Yes he does just face it already he won". "Who said we was playing games is it all just a joke to you? he said sireously. "No matter how hard you try Trey I refuse to let you destroy everything I worked hard for do what you want just leave me and mine alone" I said hanging up and whipping my tears away ad I began to get ready for my photo shoot.
