the girl opens the note :
yo, we watchin wild things @ my house, u in? -brendan. (bring a date)
she cringes, scrunching it and putting it in her pocket before hearing the bell ring for lunch. "yo rory! you comin or not!" brendan asks as she walks away to the lunch table
"hey look" she says as she sits next to miranda, opening the note and rereading it. "AHAHAHAH" miranda laughs, throwing her hands on the table to support herself
"its not funny its scary" rory giggles as dustin and her twin sit down. "yo" is all the two say in sync. "estupido look" she says, sliding the note towards the boys as they read it with furrowed brows
"do you even know what wild things is?" robin laughs as she shakes her head no. "its a film with a bunch of-" "ill go with you?" dustin says, turning to robin with a half serious half laughing face. "it will be funny to see her reaction" he whispers as robin bursts out laughing
"okay" rory smiles as she turns back to miranda who is still laughing. "oh my god what!" rory laughs. "nothing" miranda mumbles, going back to sipping at her sprite

"RORY!" the girl hears behind her as she turns to see dustin. "hiya" she smiles as they walk down the halls together. "watchu got?" he asks, putting an arm over her shoulder. "uhm soccer practice?" she says
"cool same" he grins, noting how nervous the girl is. the duo seperates as they enter the different changing rooms.

rory exits onto the field and walks over to a tree, not wanting anyone to see her with the baggy shorts and begins rolling them so they dont fall off her hips. she flattens the bumps on her ponytail before walking to miranda
"hey mirah" she smiles at the brunette who smiles back at her. "hey ror" miranda smiles back. "GIRLS, PLAY!" miss reed yells as she blows her whistle at the two
"BOOHOO" rory yells back as she walks more onto the pitch. the ball goes flying around the pitch as jafeer picks it up and starts dribbling it. "thats not how you PLAYYY" rory screams, jogging towards the boy and stealing the ball, throwing it in the air before booting it off the field.
"woopsie daisies" she mutters before walking awkwardly away from the situation. "MISS ARELLANO!" she hears behind her and she turns to see her track coach. "hola!" the girl smiles
"you have bunked track for three weeks in a row! care to explain?" the coach says, tilting her head slightly. "i would love to, but i think brendan is calling me- SORRY WHAT?" rory says, running over to the boy who infact did not call her name
"hey rory, are you coming tonight?" the boy asks, continueing to hit the ball with his hand. "yeah, dustins coming aswell" the brunette smiles widely. rory feels eyes glaring daggers at her and she turns to see anna. "sorry!" the girl laughs, running away from the other girls boyfriend
"rora!" she hears the special nickname only one person calls her. "hey dustin" rory smiles, turning towards the boy. "should i pick you up? think of it as the date we been planning" dustin smirks, making her laugh.
"you know where i live, come at 7" she says. "hey dustin!" maya says, walking up to the two. "hi?" dustin says, putting an arm over rorys shoulder. "uhm wanna be my date to watch wild things?" maya asks, eyeing the arellano girl
"im going with rory" he says as rory frowns at the sight of the sad girl. "but i can pick you up on my way there? we'll walk by your house? you can come with us" rory suggests, maiing the girls face light up
"you would do that?" maya asks. "yeah, i dont want you to be sad" rory replies. "uhm okay, see you later" maya says whilst running away. "it was meant to be our date" dustin frowns.
"if you're that bothered we can do it another time" rory smiles as the bell rings. "aight ma, see you at seven?" dustin says, walking over to the boys changing rooms

RORY sat at her vanity, straightening her hair. it was 6;45 and dustin was on his way. she hears the door open, not bothering to look who it was and continueing to quickly straightening her hair.
"this is the fastest hair straightner i know" robin says, having a film camera in his hand. "PERRA" she yells, throwing a brush at him, hitting his hair. "BITCH" he yells back.
rory unplugs her straightner before curling her eyelashes, interrupted by a knock on the door. "this boy is here early" robin laughs, turning off the camera, leaving rory to answer the door
"WHO IS IT" their uncle yells from the spare room. rorys heart skips a beat, forgetting that he will do a backflip at the sight of a boy. "ITS MAYA" robin yells "FOR AURAS SCHOOL PROJECT"
the girl walks downstairs. "hi dustin" she smiles, slightly whispering. "hey" the boy replies. "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" maddy sprints downstairs with bb by her side.
"what maddy?" robin rolls his eyes. "this was the guy at parents evening right mija RIGHTT?" maddy says as rory stands up. "A GUY?" they hear from upstairs, making the siblings turn to eachother with wide eyes.
"GOING MAYAS HOUSE TO WORK ON THE PROJECT, BYE" rory yells, running out the house with dustin running behind her but quickly getting up to speed.
the two eventually slow down. "hi" dustin says, slightly out of breath. "hi" she replies, kissing his cheek. "wheres mayas house" he asks. "just down there and to the right" rory motions as the pull the corner onto mayas road
"do we have to do this?" the curlyhead groans, making rory hit his shoulder lightly "dont be a dick" she whisper shouts as she knocks on the ishii-peters door
"hey rory" maya smiles. "hey maya" the girl smiles back. "hi dustin" maya adds, pushing past rory and begins to walk. "yo" dustin nods, making the arellano girl cringe
"who the fuck says yo.. ew." rory laughs, walking in the middle of maya and dustin. "for real" maya adds. "shutup rora" dustin kisses his teeth. "so sassy" the girl mutters, softly laughing as they walk up to brendans door.
rory knocks on the door, having sam answer it. "hey guys" he says happily. "scooch" rory says, walking past sam. "fix her bro" sam says to dustin. "ion control her" the curlyhead shrugs
