Heartstopper Future

Introduction

In this story people who are born males can get pregnant and female can get females pregnant (I think I have figured out how this works so at the end of the intro I am going to explain it but feel free to skip it if you want to)

It is starts on the day Charlie finishes uni and Nick is in a teacher training course. 

There will be little to no smut, and anything I do write won't be in much detail.

Because I wanted to have an idea of time so I knew how long everything was I have put it all to real dates starting with 14th June 2024, however, right now as you can tell that is still in the future so if anything happens in the future it won't be included between now and when I catch up.

You can see these characters as either the graphic novel or the Netflix adaptation, however I have decided to not include Aled as he has a very specific story line in radio silence and I don't feel like I know that book well enough to write about Aleds future.

How conceiving works (feel free to skip) :

Everyone is born with both male and female reproductive organs, however it is the amount of hormones that decide the birth sex. This means that you can't find out the sex of your baby until it's born as everyone has a penis.

However, this means those born in female bodies don't produce enough testosterone to get the sperm needed to conceive, when they are deciding to conceive they have to take testosterone supplements to aid in sperm production. Their menstrual cycles remain the same.

Males have a menstrual cycle however it's an annual one (so they only get their period once a year). This means they can only get pregnant for a few days of the year (1-2 weeks after their period). They produce sperm as normal. When pregnant they have to take estrogen supplements along with other female hormones to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
