Some time ago Around the Summer time I had a Bunch of Brainstorms about stories that I would (Probably never) Write
One of them was about a Guy Put into a Death game Similar to the Hunger games, Except for the fact that it's called ''King of the Hill''and the Reason behind that is because the Players not only have to Slaughter one another until there's only one left,But the Sole Survivor must Climb up the Snowy Mountain and Defeat the Previous Survivor Of the Game...Or in the Terms ''The Current King''. If they win then they Become the new King of the Hill,If they lose the Previous Winner gets to Keep their life and Status as King. In the case of a Draw the People behind the Death game will do their best to Bring Both of the Tied Winners to life and have a Small Period where there's no King and then a Mock games Called Mountain Survival Will take Place instead to Find a New King/Queen. Difference being the Only Need for a Winner is to be the Only one at the Mountain and Alive,Since there's no need to beat the king/Queen since there's none there
In this Situation There are about Fourty Players and each Players are Grouped into Pairs of Two, Meaning twenty Teams/Pairs from the Start.

The King/Queen isn't Necessarily Evil, Instead they're just a Victim of the Games for the Entertainment of the Society.
However they do Gain Status and Power from the Games,So it makes sense why one hasn't made a law to end the games as of yet
