I remember the sky burning red

I remember the sea holding the secrets unsaid

I remember the clouds being comforting

I remember the sunlight escaping through the trees

I remember the smell of mud after the rain

I remember the flowers blooming every other day

I remember the birds finding water in the summers

I remember the dogs sleeping under our car during winters

I remember the lazy mornings

I remember the late-night breeze

I remember everything in the world bringing peace
