Ethan continued to eat at the Hermes table, feeling a bit out of his element.

He felt himself get more and more distracted by every second and he almost considered getting up and going over to the Apollo table instead. He just wanted to be near the boy. But Ethan knew the rules, it was prohibited to go to another's cabin table while eating, so he couldn't go eat with the Apollo kids even if he wanted to.

He could see the Apollo table from where he was sitting and he felt his eyes drift towards the table every now and then just to see if the boy was looking at him.

He couldn't help but notice how charming and beautiful the boy was, even though he was just eating and wasn't trying to talk to anyone.

He wondered if the boy would want to spend more time together after dinner or go separate ways.

When dinner was over, Aleks was the first to get up from Apollo's table.

Ethan felt his heart skip a bit when he saw the boy walking up to him.

"Wanna go for a walk before going to bed?" Aleks said, looking at him.

Ethan felt a little nervous but nodded and smiled slightly.

"Yeah...Sure... I'd love to." He said with a warm smile.

Ethan was a bit surprised by how casually the boy suggested they go for a walk together but he couldn't deny that it made him feel more excited than ever before.

He got up from the table as well and walked alongside the boy.

They walked further from the dining pavilion and towards the strawberry fields.

He could see the boy looking at him often and couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking every time.

The two of them continued walking in silence as they made their way through camp. They had already passed the beach, the arena, and some cabins, but still, neither of them spoke.

As they arrived at the top of the strawberry fields, Ethan looked at the boy and felt his heart pump a little faster. He felt so close to the boy, so excited and also a little nervous.

He looked out into the distance and noticed the horizon. The sun had almost completely gone but the sky was still filled with light blue and a few pink clouds.

He cleared his throat and spoke slowly.

"Hey... Can I ask you something?" He asked quietly.

Aleks looked at him and nodded.

"What are... Um... What are we doing?" He asked the boy, speaking very quietly but clearly enough for the boy to hear it.

He was just wondering what the boy's intentions were as they stood next to each other in the strawberry fields.

"I just... Umm... Wanted to know..."

"I just wanted to get out of there." Alek answered looking back at the strawberry fields.

Ethan felt a bit relieved when the boy said that.

"Ok... Well, can I ask... Why did you want to go out here, with me?" He took a moment to pause.

Ethan felt his heart beat fast.

"Did you want to be alone with me?" His tone was slightly flirty but he tried to keep himself subtle.

Aleks laughed. "It feels good being with you."

Ethan felt a rush of joy as he heard the boy say this to him. He felt a bit more confident and smiled warmly at the boy. He couldn't help but be a bit flirtatious in return.

"Yah.. And... You know... It feels really nice to be out here... With you... In the evening with the sun down... The light is beautiful... You're beautiful."

Ethan felt his cheeks feel warm as he said this. He felt as if he was admitting an unspoken truth that he had hidden away for some time.

Aleks walked a step closer to Ethan, with a flirty smile on his face.

"Are you flirting with me, Ethan?"

Ethan felt a rush of adrenaline as the boy stepped closer towards him. He felt himself blush a bit and couldn't help but smile nervously at what the boy had done.

"A... Umm... Maybe." He admitted to the boy before the smile on his face widened slightly. "Are you flirting with me too, Aleks?"

"Could be."

"Then I guess we are... You know... Flirting with each other." Ethan said and chuckled nervously.

He felt his emotions race again as he looked at the boy. He felt as if he was floating on cloud nine. He felt as if he could admit anything to this boy and never regret it. He felt as if he was talking to the person who he could trust above anyone else.

"I guess we are."

Ethan couldn't help but blush again as the boy gently grabbed his hair and tucked it behind his ear. He felt a wave of pleasure wash over him and wanted to tell the boy how much he liked him.

"Aleks! You need to go back to the cabin." Lee's voice was heard.

Ethan felt himself freeze when he heard Lee calling the boy. He was a bit disappointed that the boy had to leave, but he couldn't blame him. The boy had to return to Apollo's cabin.

"I should go." Aleks said. "Good night Ethan."

"Good night... Aleks..." He said quietly, feeling a bit sad as he saw the boy walking towards his half-brother.

Ethan couldn't deny that a small part of him wanted the boy to go back to the Hermes cabin with him instead of the Apollo's cabin. But he knew this wouldn't happen.
