NCSS Vladivostok, Gulf of Suomus.

In the medical bay of the Vladivostok, Abram stood to the side of Nicholas, who had been bandaged and given basic first aid for his injuries.

"Hey... Abram." Nicholas said as the ex mechanic looked at him.

"You think... I'll make it home?" Nicholas asked, talking through his injuries. Unlike when he was imprisoned in the 502nd, there wasn't a witch that could help him with any supernatural healing powers. So his wounds were going to be open for awhile.

Abram looked with a neutral expression as he didn't want to mistakenly make Nicholas think his condition was worse than it was. "Yeah. Once we're out, we'll go back to Canada and quit. I think you and I both have had enough of going through the gutter in this new world." Abram said as Nicholas chuckled, the ex pilot smiling with resolution.

The ex pilot then sighed with a raspy breath. "Its a shame... I never got to meet her."

Abram looked quizzically. "Her?"

"When I visited the 502nd the first time, I had a dream or a memory about this woman... Red hair and red eyes, with a olive green fit to boot... Probably a witch, I couldn't know. Her name was something like Minna, but... I don't remember her enough." Nicholas said as Abram searched the back of his head for anyone with the description, but nobody came up.

"She's... probably dead. That witch, Minna. But I could be mistaken." Abram said as Nicholas looked up in sadness.

"So I really just searched for nothing... what a joke. Looks like I will go home." Nicholas said as the only thing that drove him to stay in Magicis Mundi was assumably gone.

All of the sudden, the door to the medical bay opened as the navigator and an excess gunner carried a stretcher that had Dimitri in it. Once the gunner and navigator found an empty spot, they placed the Major at the spot and proceeded to leave.

"Wait." Dimitri said as the gunner and navigator turned to him.

"What's your name navigator? In case I ever need to get you out of trouble." Dimitri said, out of his mentally unstable state of mind.

"Damien. Damien Cao." The navigator said.

"Chinese and Russian huh? Thank you, you can go." Dimitri said as the navigator and gunner both left the medical bay as a medic went to treat the Major.

"Weren't you fine when you got on?" Nicholas asked.

"I was... but I got shot." Dimitri said as he toughed through the pain of getting 10mm extracted from his ribcage.

"I'm not gonna ask how you got shot while on an allied ship." Nicholas said.

"Good." Dimitri said in response.

After the residents of the former Vasilyevsky base had left the bridge, the radar operator and co-captain walked in.

"Hey y'all. We're back from the cafeteria." The co-captain said as she took her seat in the bridge.

"So that's where you've been. We had to shoot a guy in here while you were eating, or whatever you two were doing." The communications officer said as the navigator sat with his arms crossed, not giving any attention to the conversation behind him.

"Who shot who?" The co-captain asked.

"Damien shot Dimitri Nile, but the latter had some mental gymnastics going through his head so I don't blame him." The communications officer responded.
