Meliodas x best friend (fem)reader: lost a bet

Meliodas: hey a/n what's- *looks at the title* bye..*tries to leave*

A/n: *grabs him* hold it! I need something to start this book off since my last one was either reported or I accidentally deleted w/o realizing or whatever happen to it! And your the main male character so I gotta start off with that! Pls Meliodas 🥺

Meliodas: hmm..fine I'll do it..(=_=);; I'm not happy about it but I'll do it for you..

(Y/n pov)

It was a great night as always in the tavern, our friends drinking and having fun, though I'm not much of a drinker unless I feel like having a few here or there on days weither I had a stressful day or just out of innocent fun, mostly the stressing out part is from work as a holy knight

But other than that I rarely drink, so in the tavern I just help out Meliodas, Elizabeth and daine with severing the drinks and food that was made by ban of course, his food is really amazing even hawks said his food is made by hands of a God as for Meliodas food well..it looks good but the taste is unbelievably bad
But anyways, as I was helping out serving the foods and drinks I over heard someone losing a bet over an arm wrestle against Meliodas which didn't surprise me cause he is strong

I look over to see howser talk about it and I go over for my break for a bit "what's this about a bet?" I ask him "oh y/n hey..I made this dumb bet which I thought I'd win..but i lost..so now I gotta wear a maid outfit tomorrow here.." he said sighing

"Well that's happens when you think you can win against Meliodas.." I said to him with a are you serious face to him "shut up! I was seriously drunk when I did that ok.." he slams his head onto the table, I think of the maid dress he mentioned and thought of how Meliodas would look in it while howser complain

I let out a small giggles just thinking of it, I mean Meliodas is cute and handsome mostly cute though, then I had an idea, I look at howser "hey why don't we arm wrestling. If you win I can take that maid outfit off ya" I said "you'll wear it tomorrow!?" He ask in hopeful that was high "no. Of course not" I said with a smile

(Reader's pov)

Howser look disappointed hearing that from her especially with a smile "then why do you want it?" He asks "I mean it's that or you wear it tomorrow here, your choice" she said smiling at him with a somewhat innocent smile

He sighs and nods "fine, let's do it" he grins getting gis left elbow on the table and letting his arm up holding out his hand to get ready, y/n smiles also getting ready already have people watching them making bets of would win 'funny he thinks he's stronger then me but I'm not, I may not look like it but I am strong, maybe not as strong as escanor but probably still strong enough to beat Meliodas later' she thinks to herself while keeping her innocent smile

The match started and she pretense to struggle against him so she can lose on purpose, while this was happening Meliodas looks over to see what was happening and notice y/n "struggling" to beat howser in an arm wrestle

He was confused cause he knew that she was somewhat strong second behind escanor, not even a minute she lost the match against howser and the others who bet for him to win made the losers buy the next drinks of rounds

Y/n sighs a bit and howser gives her the bag that had the maid outfit in it, she of course wasn't going to tell anyone since she wanted to see for herself and have a little laugh, she goes upstairs to Meliodas room to put it away for now and talk to him later after work, then went back to work.
