The exact moment Yeona has been waiting has finally arrived
Yeona went to an unique platform near but above the king and queen
Yeona stood there waiting glancing around the ball, she smiled little seeing her maid watching Yeona from afar from everyone in a corner
"From today a new crown princess will be born, from tonight a new era shall be begin as we introduce you to our future ruler of the Bothyl Kingdom" the host lifts his chin slightly glancing at Yeona as a way signal her to begin
"I promise to take care of this kingdom as selflessly and truthfully"
"I'll forever treasure this moment and I'd like to thank everyone for attending such an important day of mine it's my pleasure to have you all here tonight"
"I promise to-" she suddenly froze
normally when the soon to be crowned heir confesses their oath they promise to protect their title and use it for the better of their Kingdom till death
But Yeona couldn't do it,
She couldn't say those words as if something strong within her is preventing her
"Protect my Kingdom, and my title till the day I'm uncrowned from my status" she finished earning shocked faces and gasps of the words she oathed just now
Her family frowned, confused why their daughter changed the oath she was desperately practicing all these years only to change it in the end
It's was 11:59pm then "And with that let's prepare ourselves as the crown shall enter" the host snapped his fingers twice and the gate opened
And there it was
Her dream crown
Walking right towards her
The trusted guards handed the crown to the king and queen as the two stand up where as Yeona kneeled slightly again in sync
"With all our blessings I shall announce you-" he stopped as he looked at the queen seeing her nod he placed the generations worth of that crown upon Yeona's head
"You- Princess Kim Yeona as the crown princess of the Bothyl Kingdom"
Everyone began clapping with satisfaction but two people
Jungwon smirked as he heard her name
So your the one I met those years ago Kim..Yeona
Heeseung on the other hand was filled with mixed up emotions
He knew what his parents were going to do that night but Yeona was distracting him so effortlessly that he couldn't help himself
Yeona at that exact moment suddenly felt her soul leaving her body
Her chest began to pain once again as a tear escaped her eye, she yelled in pain closing her eyes more tears surfing out of her eyes
She snapped back to find herself now wearing the object off her dreams that she now finally owned her crown
She felt an unfamiliar amount of powers running through her soul, vains making her close her eyes letting out a deep exhale as her eyes began to glow not blue like her ancestors and species she'd seen but purple eyes"

It's an very short chapter compared to the other ones and my exams are going on alongside enha's comeback soon so the quality may go down a tiny bit but I'll try my best still
