For days Madison has been dodging Javon in the halls and all his Instagram posts (that are clearly about her) because of the way he looks at her.
Javon almost looked embarrassed or ashamed every time she saw him for the first three days after their 'Halloween kiss' so she started to Dodge him.
She deleted the Instagram app knowing she had no self-control and then she decided to come up with a new route to get to her classes just to make sure she didn't see him. The whole new route thing was easy since she usually took the long way to class anyway.
A bunch of 'what if' questions like 'What if he didn't like it?' or 'What if I'm a bad kisser' clouded Madison's mind all week.
"Madison!" a loud and cranky voice yells pulling Madison out of her thoughts and back into math class.
"I said could you answer the question ?" the teacher asks praying on the young girl's downfall. "-8" DJ whispers while looking down at his phone.
"Come on, it's -8" Madison shrugs as if that wasn't the most difficult equation she's ever seen. "Good job." the teacher says visibly salty that Madison got it right.
"You a lifesaver forreal, D" Madison says while looking at the curly-headed boy next to her. "No, Mads, this is the easy shit," DJ says and Madison just shrugs making the boy put his phone down.
"You don't get this?" DJ says in disbelief and Madison just shrugs again. "We have a test on Friday," DJ tells the girl making her start to search for her phone almost immediately.
"Bitch, it's Wednesday!" Madison whispers with widened eyes. "Yeah, no shit."
"Can you show me how to do this, I'm a fast learner. I swear." Madison Pleads knowing her math grade is one bad score away from an F.
"Class is about to end in..." DJ starts before the bell goes off. "Shit. Can you see me after school?" the girl asks while they grab their stuff and leave the classroom.
"I have basketball but after that, I gotcha," DJ says while looking down at the girl as they walk down the hall together. "Okay, come to my house, I'll text you," Madison says and DJ's face twists up.
"Fuck no, Jaliyah would beat both of our asses if I did that," DJ tells the girl. "Jaliyah who? Wayman?"
DJ nods His head confirming. "Oh, then come over, she knows I want Javon." Madison shrugs and DJ narrows his eyes at the girl before pulling out his phone.
"I gotta call and make sure first," DJ says while putting the phone on speaker. "Hey, baby," Jaliyah says after answering on the third ring.
"Hey, Bae, I gotta question real quick," DJ asks while putting the phone closer to his mouth so she can hear him. "You care if I go to Madison's crib to help her slow ass with this math work?" DJ says earning an offended look from the girl next to him.
"Which Madison?"
"Hill. The famous white girl that was just in that one show." DJ says now earning a blank stare from the actress. "Oh, yeah, that's my little sister," Jaliyah says making the girl smile.
"Thank you, Jaliyah I love you"

School's been over for a while now and all Jaliyah has been doing is watching Shameless. Lilly and Simone are finally gone and at Simones's house so Mads has the house all to herself.
While sitting in her room it finally hits her that she has the house all to herself. Madison picks up her phone and texts Jaliyah.
'I'm at home all alone so you can tell DJ to just not come, I don't it to be weird or anything + he was telling me how protective you were'
After Jaliyah sees the message and sends Madison a text back Madison turns her phone off and throws it on the charger just for it to ring not even a full minute later.
"What the fuck" Madison says when seeing that it's Javon calling and not her sister or one of her friends. The girl waits a second before picking up and answering the phone.
"Hello...?"
"It's Jaden, relax," Jaden says noticing the shakiness in the older girl's voice. "Thank God, what's up?" Madison days after let out a very audible sigh of relief.
"Nothing, this is just me making sure you still have a thing for my brother before I start plotting," Jaden says making the girl chuckle. "Are you trying to set me up?"
"No. Honest to God, I wouldn't do that. Especially now that I'm in charge." Jaden says making the girl roll her eyes. "Yeah, I still like Javon," Madison says.
Avoiding him in the halls and not talking to him just makes her want the boy more but deep down inside she's always liked Javon, a part of her always has and always will beat for Javon Walton.
