"Call me Giyuu..." he mumbled softly as he slowly drift off to a deep sleep. I blink my eyes in surprise at what he just said. A soft smile starts to form on my lips as I listen to his soft breathing and snore.
Sleep well, Giyuu...
-A Request-
Y/N P.O.V
I gently lay Giyuu-San down on his bed as he seem to be a lot more peaceful. I pull his blanket up to his chest to keep him warm. I smile softly at his peaceful face. I slowly get up and make my way out of his room.
I'm still not sleepy, so I decided to sit on the porch. I've always enjoyed staring at the night sky. The stars and the moon are always so mesmerizing to me. The way they can produce their own lights, prove just how amazing this world truly is.
I close my eyes as a soft breeze gently brush passed me. I feel my head gently flowing in steady rhythm. It just feel so relaxing. My mind eventually went back to Giyuu-San. How he promised he'd help me remember everything so I can turn back into a human. He seem determined to keep that promise. Which makes me decide that I will put my trust in him.

As I predicted, Giyuu-San is given another mission. I'm glad that I can help him sleep the night before, otherwise he would have been exhausted. It would be bad for him to go on mission if he's sleep-deprived.
As promised, Giyuu-San also prepared some food for me. This time to food he cooked have a flavor that burns my tongue. I had to fan my tongue because of it. In which, Giyuu-San only laughs at my reaction.
"What even is that, Giyuu-San?? Why does it burns my tongue??" I said, after calming down. It's a good think I'm still a demon, or I would have died from that flavor. Giyuu-San push a cup in front of me, urging me to drink. I grab the cup and chug it down.
"Sorry, Y/N. This one is called curry. And I guess I made it too spicy for you. I should have known better than to give you this dish, since you just gained back your sense of taste. My bad..." he said.
Spicy? Is that what this flavor is. I'm not going to touch any red food because it might burn my tongue. I just pout as Giyuu continues to chuckle. I fan my tongue not caring if I look stupid in front of him. I just want my tongue to stop burning.
"Are you okay, Y/N?" He asked, once he have stopped laughing at me. He stares at me worriedly. I take a deep breath, finally feeling the hotness on my tongue subside after chugging down three cups of water.
"Yeah... but I'm never eating that again..." I said. He just chuckles again. I huffed as he keeps on laughing at me. To others he seem emotionless. But he's quite open around me.
I raise an eyebrow as I stare at him still seated in front of me with his arms crossed. "Shouldn't you start get ready, Giyuu-San? We have a mission to go to, and you're not even dressed" I said. He just hum at what I said. He gets up from his seat, walking off to get himself ready to go on this mission.
I grab the dirty dishes and walk towards the sink to wash them. My mind drift back to Yumi. I have to visit her first before going to this mission. I haven't got a chance to go see her, being sick and all.
I wipe my hands dry as I hear footsteps. I turn my head to see Giyuu-San all dressed up. "Can I go visit Yumi first, Giyuu-San?" I asked. He hums at what I asked and nod his head, letting me know he's fine with me wanting to visit Yumi. I hang the hand towel on the rack to let it dry off. The two of us makes our way out of his estate and to Oyakata-Sama's to visit Yumi.
It didn't take long until the Estate is within our lines of view. I hear a giggle on the other side and a soft smile starts to form on my lips, knowing it's Yumi. We make our way inside the Estate.
"Yumi..." I said, in a soft voice. She stops running and turn to look at my direction. Her eyes lit up as she quickly runs towards me. I lean down, welcoming her in a hug. "I'm sorry for not visiting you sooner. It's strange but... I kind of went down with a fever" I said.
"You were sick?" Oyakata-Sama said, who's been here the whole time. I turn to face him and bow respectfully. "That's never happened before. I thought demons can't get sick. You're truly a unique one... you seem more like a human than you are a demon..." he said.
"I guess I am, Oyakata-Sama" I said, in a soft voice a small smile starts to form on my lips. A soft smile appear on his lips. I slowly move to stand up. "I hope Yumi did not bother you too much..." I said.
"Of course not... also, I'd like to propose a request..." he said. I tilt my head in confusion. The smile on his face get a little wider as he smiles softly at me. "If it's okay with you, Y/N. I'd like to adopt Yumi as one of my own. And of course, you're still allowed to see her whenever you want..." he said.
My eyes widen at what he said. He wants to adopt Yumi? I turn my head to look at the little girl next to me. She turn her head to look at me with her innocent eyes. If I let Yumi get adopted by Oyakata-Sama, that would mean she would finally have a chance to feel what it's like to have a real family.
I move to kneel down in front of Yumi and places my hand on her shoulders. "It would be best for you, Yumi. You'd finally have a chance to have a family..." I said. She starts to tear up at my words.
"But Y/N-Nee would still be my sister, right?" She said. I smile softly at her and nod my head. She turn her head to look at Oyakata-Sama. "If you want to adopt me. Can't you adopt her too? Please make her my real sister" she said. My eyes widened at her request.
"Yumi... that's a little..." I started, not knowing what to say. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to see it's Oyakata-Sama's hand as he's guided by one of his twins.
"I would love to have you as my child too, Y/N..." he said. I blink my eyes in surprise at what he said. I move to stand up, making his hand fall from my shoulder.
"But, Oyakata-Sama... you're a respected man in this whole Estate as you're the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. I'm just a demon. It just doesn't sit right in any view. The leader of the Demon Slayer Corps adopting a demon? It's not right, sir" I said.
"You've proven yourself to be more like a human than you are a demon. I'm sure with you there will be an exception, Y/N. Please consider this request. I'd be delighted to welcome you in my family as one of my own. I will be happy to have you as a family, Y/N" he said. My eyes soften at what he said. A family? It would be a dream come true... but would it be right to accept?
