The meet up

Vanessas POV

I walk downstairs to see Luke playing a game on the living room tv. I go and sit on the couch next to him. "Hm?" he asks wondering why I'm down here.

"Nothing" we stay quiet for a minute before he speaks "did you hear what happened at school today?"

Uh-oh, I wonder if it's about Zane and Kyle.

"So Zane got into a fight with a guy" yep. "Zane ended up punching him and Kyle had to go to the hospital because of it"

I just nod not knowing what to say. Luke looks at me the reads my face and his eyes widen "did you see it happen?!" I nod slowly. "I'm the reason it happened..." I say.

"What?! What happened?!" he asks "well Kyle tried bringing me to an empty classroom but I told him no multiple times but he didn't listen so Zane said something to Kyle but Kyle made it worse by saying I was 'sexy' so Zane punched him"

"What the hell?! I'm going to kill Kyle tomorrow!" Luke says getting angry, just as he says that I hear "wait, why are we killing Kyle?" it's mike, he must have just got here and heard that.

Luke stands up and looks at him "Kyle was trying to have sex with Nessa but when she told him no he tried bringing her to a empty classroom then when Zane said something about it Kyle called her sexy!" Luke shouts angrily.

"What the fuck?! We're having a word with Kyle Tomorrow!" Mike says and I sigh. "Guys it's ok, nothing actually happened, plus I think he gets it since Zane punched him so hard he needed to go the hospital" "Wait Zane?" Mike asks "yeah"

"Zane was actually nice?" he questions "well... He said to not think I'm special because of it so I don't know" I shrug.

The next day

I was sitting in history class, Zane was in front of me.

I made a friend today, we actually got really close, her name is lily, we're practically best friends already, we spent the whole day talking, even sat together at lunch, we have almost all the same classes, she sits next to me in history.

We've been in class for about 10 minutes when I notice Zane on his phone again, I look at lily signaling to Zane on his phone and I roll my eyes, she does the same.

After class I was putting my stuff in my locker when a piece of paper fell out, I pick it up and read it, it says "hey, meet me at link park at 6:30 tonight, don't be late" I wonder who it's from?.

Lily walks up to me "hey girl" she notices the paper "ooo what's that?" she asks "a note" I say and she replies "does someone have a secret admirer" with a smile "um i don't know, it says to meet them at link park at 6:30, should I go?" I ask.

"Yes!" she shouts excitedly and I giggle "ok but if I get kidnapped I'm blaming you" she smiles and nods.

It's 6:00 I'm thinking about if I should go or not.

You shouldn't.

Oh my god.

I get up and fix my hair and makeup, I go downstairs and put my shoes on. "Where are you going?" Luke asks "meeting a friend" I lie. if I tell him the truth he won't let me go. "Ok..." he gives me a suspicious look "need a ride?"

"No I'm just gonna walk, thank you though" I give him a smile and leave before he can protest.

Once I get to the park it's 6:30 on the dot. It's raining now. Great. I walk up to the playground area and see someone so I walk up to them to is if it's who left the note.

It's Zane.

"Zane?" I ask and he looks at me.

He looks so hot soaking wet from the rain, his hair sticking to his forehead a bit, dripping with water. His white shirt a little see through, sticking to his body, showing off his toned abs.

Ok I take back every bad thing I said about this man.

That's what I thought.

"Hey, I see you got my note, thank you for coming. I need to ask you something" ...
