As he floated through the hallways, Raine behind him, Collector's mind was a fever dream of thoughts

The rampage of his feelings when he faced Estoile, or either thought about anything happened between them, the guilt of possible act that could upset his brother, or anything could've made Estoile sad

And the hardness of trying to keep himself not guilty, or the frustration from every moment he thought he could reason with him, just ending up for Chalent to pay the price

What could he do?

They now were out of the Archive House, the touch of nighty winds was kind, yet making him shiver

Or even now, the fact of King betraying him, at the worst time ever, his head didn't have any place for process anything now

His hand again, slowly touching the necklace

Maybe if he asked King, he may– ..... oh

It's his fault, why bother asking for anything?

Silently he sat down at the edge, seeing the Hexsquad down there, he was sad, confused

But at least, if he followed Raine's instructions, maybe, then maybe, he can have her back, right?

Raine sighed, as he stepped closer " it's a matter of time, Collector, for now, you should be prepared for her, or what might happen to her? "

" Just tell me " Raine specified calmly " what else you can do? it's fine if you don't want me around, but, are you so sure that you can safe her? "

Collector just looked down, then at Raine, then at the Hexsquad, all while holding into his left sleeve

" Remember what I've told you? Luz came back, and now she would help King to take you down, what will you do? "

A tighter grip got into his sleeve, his eyes glew, as he rised, while his hands now on both sides

His eyebrows pressed down as hard as possible, upset, really upset

Maybe Raine's right, and if he's not, there was still a need of doing something

Staying in place terrified is just frustrating, he wanted to believe there's something to do
