TWINKLING WATERMELON (YICHAN & CHEONG AH ENDING STORY)

Yichan P.O.V

After Eungyeol's farewell, Yichan was left alone in the hospital room, he was staring at the beautiful moon outside the window, a blank look was showing on his face. Sometimes he remembers about the time he was playing happily with his band members, the memories he had while preparing the festival with his band mates and also with Segyeong and Cheong ah keep coming. Tears suddenly flowing, Yichan feels so empty, he can't hear anything even his own heartbeat.

Suddenly he gets up from the bed, and walks slowly to the emergency chair, he took a small step by step climbing up the stairs until he arrived at the rooftop of the building, he walks slowly to the edge of the roof, standing there very long with a blank face n thought, he feels like his life is already end, Yichan feeling so depressed, the memories when he is singing and playing guitar keep coming to his head, and it makes him tortured.

Yichan took a small step, he is ready to end his life. Tears keep flowing, his heart hurting a lot, 'i'm sorry grandma..' he said quietly. When his right feet is moving forward, suddenly he hears something.... he hears a guitar sound playing in his head, a very beautiful tone was playing, he hold back, he put his feet back, he stops for a moment, a sound of guitar keep playing in his head, suddenly he hears Eungyeol's voice "You will have a good life, your life will twinkle more than anyone's life, Please keep your promise to be my father in the future." Yichan suddenly get back to his senses, took a step backwards and stayed away from the edge of the roof, he wiped his tears, he ran back to his room. Yichan gained his energy back, from that moment he decided to start learning sign language diligently. He wants to make his grandma happy, and keep his promise to Eungyeol that his life will twinkle.

Cheong Ah P.O.V

It's the day when She and her father will be going abroad to the US. Cheong Ah still doesn't know that she will be studying in the US and never come back to South Korea, his father still hiding the truth about Yichan's incident from her.

Cheong Ah keeps walking back and forth feeling so anxious because Yichan still hasn't replied to her fax mail back since yesterday. She worries that something might happen to him. His father came to her room and told her that they need to go now in sign language.

"We need to go.. i will wait for you in the car." said her dad. Cheong Ah nodded slowly.

She decided to write another fax mail to Yichan.

'I will go now, I will spend my time with my father there for a while. I hope you are okay, please wait for me, we will meet again.'

After she sends the last fax mail, she takes her bag and walks outside, following his father to the car and they are on the way to the airport. His dad smiled at Cheong Ah and she smiled back at him. Although she is worried about Yichan, she can't hide the excited feeling for the very first time she spends time with her father.

1 month later......

Yichan P.O.V

Yichan studying his sign language everyday, he gets a loooottt better and better, the round table he made for Cheong Ah now he used for him to communicate with his grandma and friends. Unexpectedly, the watermelon sugar band members secretly studying the sign language too for Yichan, sometimes they are coming to Yichan house to play together. Yichan stopped coming to the normal school, he started learning sign language and took a self lesson at an academy for disabled people.

Actually, when he got back from hospital, he saw Cheong Ah's fax mail, he read all of it, and he felt very happy to know the relationship between Cheong Ah and her dad was getting better and closer, he really wanted to tell her about what happened with him but he held back. He doesn't want to ruin the moment between Cheong Ah and her father. Also, Yichan knows that Cheong Ah's dad took all the responsibility for the incident.
