In The Bar

POV Adrien:

I left the door opened for Marinette to watch everything. Now, I have no secrets toward my wife, not even Zoe

Adrien: I'm going to follow my wife. ask them to clean here and to get the bullets out

Zoe: sure sir

I left that room, looking for my wife, till I found her walking hardly and slowly to leave this place. I run toward her but she passed out

Before she falls, I held her in my arms and picked her bridal style. While going to my room, I found Nino in the entrance of the basement

Nino: what happened? I told you she ....

Adrien: bring my personal doctor to my room as soon as possible, and ask all the bodyguards to get their places again in the basement.

Nino: right now

POV Zoe:

Adrien used the elevator to go to his room, followed by me and he left the door opened. He laid Marinette on the bed and sat on the edge.

He was pushing her hair out of her face and caress her cheeks. Even if he denies it, I can see that he doesn't really hate her when I see the way he is looking at her

Zoe: she will be fine?

Adrien: she will be shocked a bit, but she will be fine

Zoe: that was really hard for her, her best friend and in the same time her husband

Adrien: two in one, that's better. You are going to talk to her first

The personal doctor of Adrien is finally here. Adrien stays beside Marinette while his doctor is checking on her

After three minutes, he packs his items and face Adrien

Doctor: sir, she is fine, but she looks like she is tired and she need some rest. A whole day in the bed will be helpful for her, no medicine needed

Adrien: ok great

The blond got three bills of 100 dollar and gave them to his doctor then he left.

Adrien: I won't be here all the night, not even tomorrow morning. I have a lot of business to deal with

Zoe: I understand sir

Before he leaves, he sat on the edge of the bed and caressed Marinette's hair. I blushed hard when he bent to kiss her on her lips then he left

One of the maids brought me new clothes and got my dirty one because they had blood on it. I put a chair beside Marinette's bed, waiting for my best friend to wake up

POV Marinette:

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in my room, and it was night. I thought everything was a dream

I sit up, rubbing my temples, trying to understand what's going on in my life

Zoe: I'm glad you are awake

Marinette: Zoe? I think I had a nightmare

Zoe: a nightmare like me and Adrien were killing two men in the basement?

All my body was shaking, my lips were quivering, my heart was beating so fast and my eyes teared up. I crawled back to the other side of the bed to get far of Zoe

Marinette: h-how you know? Zoe!! Please.... Please don't tell me that .... That it was all t-that blood and .... And the two men dead is r-real ... is real
