I was in the kitchen cooking me and gio's favorite dinner, shrimp pasta, while watching TV

I pour the sauce on the pasta and I hear the door unlock and open

"Baby, is that you?" I ask just in case

"Yeah" I hear her footsteps approaching the kitchen

"How was work?" I ask mixing the sauce in the pasta

"Shit" she says

"Why what happened?" I ask

She shakes her head

I sigh

"Look what I made" I smile

She looks at the pot and smiles

"Go watch TV while I finish" I say

"Don't be bossing me around" she says making a face and walking into the living room

I laugh

I put gio's plate in front of her on the coffee table

She immediately picks up the plate and places it on her thighs

"Hot hot hot!" she says putting it back on the coffee table

I laugh

We finished eating not too long ago, we were now just watching TV

"Y'know, whatever happened at work, I hope is cleared from your mind now" I say

She nods

Gio is always one to get aggressive when something upsets her, and It was normal

It's not like she was taking it out on me, I just hate seeing her with anger in her eyes

Whenever I would ask what was wrong, she would brush me off and not talk to me all day

But she did that in order to not take it out on me

She would take it out on other things, or smoke weed until she was high

"It's not effecting me, so I'm fine" she says

I smile and kiss her cheek

After that we just watched movies and fell asleep on the couch
