I sat on the grass and watched the river flow down, the trees loomed over the river as they dropped a few leaves into the water.

"Samuel?" Her voice cooed I looked over and saw Y/n in her cute little light orange dress her hair in a long five-strand braid with daises in her hair, her nose slightly scrunched hiding her freckles, I knew her fairly well as she and her family moved into the house a few doors down last winter and given her and I are around the same age I often spent time with her, honestly we were kinda in the early courting stages, even if I struggle a little with her sometimes her family are... strange, very spiritual and mystical, doesn't help she's still learning English so she gets confused sometimes, but I still love her she's so cute and sweet she reminds me a lot of fairies from old stories my mother use to tell me and my sisters.

"Aww hi y/n" I smiled "What can I do for you?" she smiled and revealed a well-made flower crown with daises, lavender and other local wildflowers that littered the grass, the crown was very well made strong enough that you couldn't pull it apart without some force clearly her braiding skills had been put to use "Aww that's beautiful"

"I'll trade you"

"Trade? Uhh maybe for what?"

"I'll trade you you're bones for this flower crown"

"My-my my bones?"

"Umm" she nods

"Uhhh... it's very pretty, but I think I'm gonna have to say no"

"No?"

"No y/n"

"Oh." she said "But Bones"

"No, no bones"

"Please, very pretty. for bones"

"It's very pretty but their my bones"

"Bones for flower crown"

"I need my bones y/n. No."

"No bones?"

"No bones."

"Ohh... I can't make soup" she sighed

"s-soup!"

"No bones for soup" she sighed

"You were gonna turn my bones into soup!"

"Umm but can't make soup if I have no bones," she says "Bones hold the soup"

"bones hold- do you mean bowls!"

"Bowl?"

"Bowls. Like round ceramic to hold soup?" I asked and she nodded "Ohhh! you scared me y/n. Of course, come up to the house with me you can borrow a bowl" I laughed getting up and taking her hand to walk her back to the house

"crown for bowls"

"Nope. I love your little crowns y/n but I don't trust you" I laughed giving her head a kiss

"No crown?"

"No way." I told her "For all I know I agree to take it and I'm suddenly I'm in some magical fairy wedding. or turned into a toad" I laughed

"Like Luka" she giggled

"Luka moved away y/n he didn't turn into a toad" I laugh

"Mean boy he deserved it" she giggled

"You really worry me sometimes y/n" I told her "Come on then my little fairy let's find you a bowl for your soup."
