~Kokushino pov~

I open the door to see Muzan still cuddled up to Yoriichi. He (meaning Muzan) is laying on the couch with his head in Yoriichi's lap. He opens his eyes and asks, "So what did you see?" He asks. "Well Hantengu's clones were sleeping with Gyokko in the middle." Nakime answers. Muzan blinks, looking a little shocked. After a hot minute, of trying to process this information,  Muzan says, "Well that's definitely not what I expected you to say." Yoriichi gently taps Muzan's shoulder and he sits normally.

Without a word Yoriichi walks up to me. "Aniki can I hug you?" He asks softly. I freeze, not expecting him to call me aniki. Especially after I cut him in half when he died. But I open my arms and he slowly steps closer to return the hug. He buries his head in my shoulder. And, in a voice so soft I could have thought he'd said nothing at all, I hear him whisper, "I thought aniki hated me." The he promptly falls asleep asleep. "How did you get him to sleep?" Muzan asks breaking the silence. I'm still in shock as I answer, "I didn't do anything but hug him." I say confused. "He hasn't slept in days?"My confusion disappears as I look down at my little brother.

(To anyone who knows some japanese what is little brother because I know aniki but I don't know the words for little brother. So if you know please tell me)

'Why hasn't he slept?' I think. 'Could it be due to his anxiety?' I pick him up and say, "If he's the same as he was when he was alive he won't let go of me until he wakes up. Even then he might not let go." I run my fingers through my little brothers hair. He sighs softly and curls against me more. Muzan looks at me and says, "Sit on the couch so you don't fall or something." I nod and silently pick Yoriichi up. Carrying him to the couch and sitting with him curled up in my lap. Nakime sits at my feet and looks at me. "How easily does he wake up?" She asks in a hushed tone. "He could sleep through an earthquake." I deadpan. She nods, leans back against my legs, and begins to play her biwa. Soon I find it hard to keep my eyes open. I glance at Muzan who seems to be having the same problem. I lean my head back and embrace sleep instead of fighting it.

~Time skip cause my wrist is starting to hurt, I sprained it~

I wake up to someone saying my name. "Michi-nii wake up." I yawn and open my eyes. I blink to see Yoriichi looking at me. "I want to go for a walk." I nod and let him go. "By the way, make sure Nakime's comfortable." I look down to see Nakime fast asleep against my legs, her head tilted to the side. I carefully stand and bend down to pick her up. She starts to wake up as I straighten. "Wha-" She starts to say before I shush her. "Go back to sleep." I murmur softly as I walk out of Muzan's office. I don't realize in that moment that I left her biwa. But I know Muzan will make sure nothing will happen to it. We walk back to my room in a comfortable silence. I make sure Nakime is comfortable each time I have to jump from one platform to the next. When we finally get to my room I open the door and put my katana, that I had apparently fallen asleep wearing, on my desk. I then walk to my futon and lay down. Nakime shifts so she's facing me and I sit up slightly so she can hug me. I wrap my arms around her, holding her close to my chest, and bury my nose in her hair. But since I've already woken up I find it hard to fall back asleep. I lay there holding Nakime until Yoriichi appears out of nowhere. "Can you hand me the book over there?" I ask. He smiles and hands me the book. I carefully roll onto my back and open the book. I almost dose off after a while so I put the book to the side and Nakime moves in her sleep. She is now laying on her back with my arms wrapped around her stomach. Her head fits just under mine and I fall back asleep.

• I am standing in a grassy field, the eastern sky is beginning to lighten. I notice Nakime and say, "We need to find a cave or something, the sun will rise soon." I start walking straight and after a while I see a cave in a rocky hill. I make it inside just as the sun beings to rise. I check to make sure Nakime's with me, but to my surprise she's nowhere to be found. I feel a sense of dread settle over me as I look outside. Running to ward the cave is Nakime. But I know she won't make it in time. "Hurry!" I shout. She tries to go faster but the faster she goes the more she burns. This happens untill there is nothing left of her. "NO!" I scream. And suddenly I wake up•

I awake to Nakime shaking me. I see her and quickly pull her into a hug, pushing my face against her to hide the tears that are falling. "Shh it was just a dream. Everything's okay." She says, her voice filled with calm. I continue to tremble in her arms as the image of her burning in the sunlight continues to flashe in my mind. "But it was so real." I whisper, my voice partially muffled. "What happened?" She asks calmly. "You. You were burning in sunlight. I couldn't save you." I stammer. She continues to stroke my hair, trying to calm me. I listen to her heart beat and use it to calm mine, but I'm still crying. She pulls my face to look at her and she wipes away all my tears. She leans forward and kisses my forehead. "I won't ever allow that to happen." She whispers
before she kisses me again, this time on the lips. "I love you." She says again. I stop crying and kiss her. Against her lips I answer, "I love you to."
