Neuvillette's POV
I hear a knock on the door and stand up to open it. "Sedene?" I open and see a very familiar face. "I'm back, Neu-" I kiss him. Our lips move in sync and I pick him up by his waist. We pull away, his cheeks are pink. "Missed me?" "I did. I missed you so much." He smiles and pecks my lips. "I thought you were mad because of what I'd said." "No... I mean I felt a bit upset, but I had to leave for some work stuff. I wanted to tell you that day, but you were distressed with the whole Furina thing. I had some business in Liyue and Inazuma so I couldn't delay my trip." I nod. "I'm sorry I made you upset." "It's alright, you were right." "It doesn't matter, I shouldn't have said that." He smiles. "Don't worry, sweetheart." He pecks my lips. "I love you." "I love you." "I love you." "I love you." He kisses me and I carry him to my bed. "I missed you." "I missed you, too."

We continue kissing and I slide my hands under his shirt. "Oh?" He smiles. "I hope it's okay with you." "What if I say it isn't?" "Then I stop and go back to kissing your beautiful lips. Shall I do that?" "No." He takes off my shirt. "I'm so in love with you." He smiles and pecks my lips. "Neuvillette." "Hm?" "Let's get married." "I thought we already agreed on that." "Let me rephrase that." He pulls a velvet box from his pocket. "Will you, Neuvillette, marry me? Not in the way that we talk about getting married, in the way that you become my fiancé and we actually plan our wedding." "Don't play like that with my feelings (Y/N)." "I am not." "Are you really proposing?" "I am." I chuckle. "You're proposing to me shirtless?" "This way I can make sure you say yes." He winks. "Yes, (Y/N). I will marry you." We kiss and our intimate moment from before turned into a romantic one. He puts his shirt back on and grabs my hand. "Let's go tell Sedene! I need to tell Furina, too." "(Y/N), about Furina." "I already know, she's still my friend." "Alright, let's go then." I run, looking back at him. "Wait!" I stop and he crashes against me. "You forgot the ring." He takes the ring and puts it on my finger. We run hand in hand and finally we find Sedene.

"Sedene!" She stops and looks at us. "We are getting married!" (Y/N) jumps up and down. "You're as excited as the first time." "Of course I'm excited! I'm marrying the most perfect man in the world!" I grin and hug him. "I love you." "I love you, too." "I'm so happy for you!" He smiles. "I'm glad, we're going to go tell Furina now, see you later, Sedene!" We run hand in hand to Furina's place. He knocks on her door. She opens and looks at him. "(Y/N)." "Morning, Furina. I heard about what happened, I'm sorry I wasn't here, I had some urgent business in Inazuma." "It's alright." She looks down. "You're holding hands." He nods and she smiles. "He proposed." She smiles. "I'm glad." She grabs his hands. "You out of everyone, (Y/N), deserve to get happily married with the love of your lives." He smiles. "Thank you." "I hope you'll invite me to the wedding." "Of course we will, there's no way we'd hold it without you." He hugs her. "I'd have never ever met him if it wasn't for you, thank you so much, Furina. You're my Cupid." She smiles. "No problem." "I actually missed you guys so fucking much." He grins and pulls me to join the hug.

He lets go and after a while of talking we leave. We run hand in hand and I just stare at him the whole time because he is stunning. His hair flows as he runs and he turns to look at me grinning. "You're beautiful." I smile and he stops, his cheeks pink. "I love you." He says. "I love you, too." I reply. He throws himself to hug me. We hug for a bit. I nuzzle my face on his shoulder and take in his fresh scent. "I'm so happy, Neuvillette." He says and plants a kiss on my head. "I'm so happy, too." "I'm glad. I was so nervous." He chuckles. "I'd say yes to you nine hundred and ninety nine times." He smiles. "I love you so much." I notice some people staring and notices, too. "Is this o-" I kiss him. "I'll give you a formal introduction later." We hug and then walk back to the Palais Mermonia.

(Y/N)'s POV
I sit on the stage at the opera house. "Uhm, hi." Lyney screams and I giggle. "I guess not many of you will know me, my name is (Y/N) (L/N). I'm a writer. I recently published a book called bittersweet. My editor said I should do a signing event, so here I am. It's nice to meet you. I'll also be answering any questions you have." I slightly bow. "MARRY ME!" I laugh and see Neuvillette's back stiffen. "I'm already engaged." "Nooo!"

"What's the book about?" "It's about two friends, one is a very cheery person and the other a quiet one. I don't want to spoil anything myself so I'll leave it at that." "Alright." "Will you ever go to Sumeru?" "Well, I'm not planning to go right now, but maybe some other time." "Who are you engaged to?" I smile and look at Neuvillette. He smiles. "Is it a person from Inazuma?" "No, not from Inazuma." "I'm from Liyue and I've seen you there often, are they from there?" "I don't think that's related to my book..." Neuvillette moves his head up in some sort of nod and I smile. "My fiancé is Fontainian, you probably know him." My cheeks turn red. "I assume you've heard of the position of Chief Justice." The room goes quiet. "Monsieur Neuvillette and I are engaged." The room gets filled with gasps and mutters. "Good one, good one." I hear laughs all over the room and chuckle. "Well now that that's over if any of you want me to sign your books." "Wow... all writers are liars but we never thought you'd lie about such a thing." I smile. "It might be hard to believe so I won't force any of you to believe me. Either way it wasn't any of your business. Let's continue with the signing now."

I sign some books and suddenly I see a very known glove on the table. I look up and see Neuvillette. "Hi." "Hi." "What're you doing here? I can always sign yours at home." "I'm here to support you." He smiles. "You're adorable." I hold his hand for some seconds then he holds my hand and brings it to his lips. I giggle. "Oh, do I love you, my sweetheart." He smiles. "It's quite interesting they didn't believe were engaged." "I don't blame them, I still can't fully believe it myself." He chuckles and kisses my cheek. "You better believe it cause we have to start planning the wedding soon." I nod. "I should probably leave now, I'm holding the line." I nod and sign his book. I see another known glove. "Well hello, Mr. Magic." "Hello! So... getting married, huh?" I nod. "Yes, I proposed after coming back." "That's amazing." "It is, he's awesome."

The signing event ends and after everyone leaves I walk down to Neuvillette and wrap my arms around his neck. His hands move to my waist. "Hello." "Hello." "Missed you." He chuckles. "I missed you, too." I smile and kiss his cheek. I rest my chin on his shoulder and whisper: "Do you want to stay at my place today?" I look at his now red ear and kiss his cheek. "Sure." "Let's go then." We walk hand in hand to my house. "I'll go take a shower, sweetheart." "May I accompany you?" I grin. "Sure." I kiss his cheek and walk to the bathroom with him.
