VIOLENT DELIGHTS

The kiss of blood on skin.
The final breath of air.
The last beat of a heart.
The chime of the gong.
The dawn of victory.

Daphne Knight becomes the Victor of the 66th Hunger Games and the rest of Panem goes back to normal. But life will never be the same for this new winner. Her world is forever changed, blood is eternally on her hands. When she returns home, she is not the same girl who left. Innocence is gone.

Then for the 70th Hunger Games, a letter arrives, scented like a white rose and stamped into crimson wax is the Capitol sigil. Daphne Knight will mentor a tribute in this year's Hunger Games.

Daphne finds herself in a pit of vipers once she reaches the Capitol, everyone has their own motive, she can truly trust no one. Until, Finnick Odair and his dazzling smile and charming chat. He works his way in deep and buries himself under her skin. He becomes part of her, part of her she decides she doesn't want to lose.
