BEAUTIFUL LIES

The distance between us is huge,
But the bond is not loose.
Often I crave to see you in person,
But no signs of distance reduction.
There is a long wishlist to tick,
But it's just the imagination in which I live.
The thoughts fill my stomach with butterflies,
But in reality it's my imagination full of beautiful lies.
Sadness suddenly starts to kick in,
Heart wants a warm hug to be in.
Moisture in my eyes makes the screen blurry,
Feelings get even more unsteady.
The warm condolences that you give,
Is a little far to reach.
Moist eyes and a warm smile on your pretty face,
Somehow helps with my sadness to fade.
Another warm hug that you send me across miles,
Fills my heart with another set of beautiful lies.
