"Cho Bloodclaat, mi wei nuh guh nuh weh enu" I hiss as I toss another dress on the pile I already made with the other's.

I'm haven't been on a date in a while infact I don't even remember being on one but here in America it's different. I recently met this Puerto Rican guy, Reece Lopez and I find him interesting.

Mi nah haste anything thou...

Tonight is our first date and since evening I have been struggling with what to wear. I don't want to look too extra and I don't want to look too dull but nothing in my closet works.

With a frustrated sigh, I reach for my phone and call my bestfriend. On the third ring, she pick up.

"Sup ba- a how yuh mouth long suh gyal?" Kayla laugh as our face come into view on the video call.

"Stress mi gyal, di bwoy asks mi out tonight but mi nuh know wah fi wear" I complain, laying flat on my back, on my bed.

"Nuh wear a nice dress and a heels Monique, mi know yuh have clothes can wear" she says.

"Yea but ntn mi take out no look nice" I grumble as I switch the camera showing her the pile of dresses on the bed.

"Wapm to da red dress deh?" She points and my eyes follow her finger.

I took up the red dress I tossed aside earlier, I lean my phone up against my pillow and hold up the dress for her to see it fully.

"Dhis ya?" I scrunch up my face and she nod.

"It too plain, ntn classy nuh deh bout it" I hiss folding it to toss aside.

"Monique it look nice and you can wear it with a lace up heels.. dhat ago look nice pon yuh" she smile.

"Yuh sure? Dhis?" I examine the dress and suddenly find a liking for it.

"Mi a tell yuh it ago look nice and please send mi pictures"

"But must" I lay the dress out on the bed. "Ratid!" I call out when I glimpse on the time.

"A wah?" Kayla jump up looking surprise.

"Him soon cum, mek mi go ready. Will send yuh lots of pics. Love yuh" I hastily say as I grab my my bonnet off of my head. 

"Love yuh tuh"

I disconnect the call and quickly move to the mirror to style my hair. My mother installed a 18inches burgundy straight hair for me yesterday so all I need to do is fix the edges and maybe drop in a few curls.

Gud thing mi did bade aready...

I did my make up and add on some lashes then my jewelleries.

Mi face nuh luk too bad and make up a dhem place ya pricey nuh fuck...

Mi press on nails dhem affi go work fi dhis becaz dhat expensive tuh.
