"You know Megumi" Remi said as the two sat in her room, the dark-haired male allowing her to play with his hair whilst they rewatched the Hunger Games
"Hm?" The zenin said, slightly turning to look at her
"None of us have really spoken about itadoris death, except for yesterday night when you made those meatballs," She hummed
"But I could tell you felt upset at just mentioning it, would you, like to talk about it?" She asked, that was the right thing to say right?
Sure remi missed Yuji a lot and she felt this weird constant sorrow, but she hadn't cried like Megumi or nobara, and she couldn't understand why. Was it the environment she had grown up in? Was that going to effect her for the rest of her life
But she didn't want to focus too much on herself, rather how those she cared about were feeling
"It's fine remi" Megumi smiled
"Oh okay" She hummed before realising he was probably lying "Are you sure? I'm a good listener" She said, megumi giving her a nod as the two sat in silence
"I just feel, really useless" Megumi sighed
"Okay he wants to talk about it now" Remi thought as she sat upright
"I couldn't even move when that special grade appeared and I left itadori to face it all on his own, and even in the end I couldn't get sukana to restore his heart" Megumi sighed, Remi keeping quiet for a bit
"I don't think you're weak megumi" She stated
"Yeah well you have to say that, you're my friend" He muttered
"You might be dogshit at hand to hand but you're amazing at wielding a cursed weapon, I'd say second to maki and your cursed technique is super cool, especially nue" Remi stated
"I forgot you're pretty blunt" Megumi smiled, it was one of the many things he liked about remi, she didn't sugar coat anything
If you're bad at something she'll let you know, but if you're good, she'll also make sure you're aware of it
"And at the end of the day, you were facing off against ryomen sukuna, you aren't expected to win" She shrugged
"Don't feel too bad about it" She yawned, flopping onto her bed
"Thanks remi" Megumi said with a greatfull smile, remi giving him one back
"Actually I have one more thing to say" She stated. "Stop trying to sacrifice yourself"
"Huh?" Megumi asked
"Both when Sukuna was first introduced and Yuji's death, you tried to summon Mahoraga" Remi said with a frown, Megumi giving her a guilty look
"I know the TV always said sacrifices are good, but I believe in positive selfishness" She hummed "And what's that?" Megumi asked
"Being positively selfish" Remi shrugged "I'm not gonna let people die for no reason, but I won't sacrifice myself for that great or good bullshit," Remi shrugged
