Chapter 8

Nandini wakes up in the morning.. She is still feeling tired.. but there is continuous knock on the door... Manik opens the door..

" Bhai.. aaj bhabhi ka phela din hain hamare ghar mein.. mummy kab se puch rahi hain bhabhi ke baremei.. bhabhi ready hui kya.." Mukti asked Manik..

" Baas tayyar ho rahi hain... thodi der mein niche aa jayegi.." Manik told Mukti.. Mukti left from there and he close the door..

" Tumne jhut kyu bola Mukti se.." Nandini asked yawning...

" Subhe subhe taunt khake pet bharna hain kya.." Manik gives her saracastic reply...

" Jo bhi ho tumhe mujhe defend karne koi zarurat nahi hain.." Nandini said..

Nandini went to washroom..to freshen up.. She wears a sari.. and comes out..

Manik cannot take his eyes off her.. Nandini clicks her finger infront of his face..

" Kahan koye hue ho tum.." Nandini asked...

Manik cleared his throat "nowhere." he replied..

Nandini and Manik both went downstairs... Nyonika is fuming in anger....

" Pehli rasoi hain tumhari.. pheli rasoi ke liye jaldi uthna padta hain tumhe malum nahi hain.. kuch nahi sikhaya tumhare maa baap ne.. sikhaya hoga.. par sunti kaha ho tum unki.." Nyonika started her taunt...

" Mom aap please shaant hojaye aap.. subhe subhe suru hogayi aap.. thak gayi thi wo.. issiliye so rahi thi.. aur uss ke maa baap baare mei taunt dena band kariye.." Manik takes stand for Nandini..

" Haan aab shaadi hogayi teri.. aab to biwi ki tarafdari karega na tu.. maa ki kya fikar tujhe.." Nyonika becomes angry with Manik..

Nandini is feeling bored with drama going on...

" Aap logo ne hi mujhe force kiya tha Manik se shaadi karne ke liye.. kyuki Aliya bhaag gayi thi shaadi se.. mere maa baap ne jo assume kiya wo sach to nahi ho sakta na Aunty.. please ye melodrama mujhse handle nahi ho sakta.." Nandini defended herself and requested the drama to be stopped..

" Dekha Manik kaise juban lada rahi hain mujhse.." Nyonika said...

" Manik kaha hain tumhara kitchen... aap aap logo ki bateein continue karey.." Nandini asked Manik..

Manik shows Nandini the way to kitchen... Nandini prepared gajar ka halwa for all...

All sit in the dinning table for breakfast.. All of them taste the halwa.. It was awesome..

" Chalo ye kaam to dhang karna aata hain tumhe.." Nyonika is impressed with her cooking skill...

They all gives her gifts in return of it.. Manik and Nandini get ready for reception party..

Nandini parent's didn't even come.. Maan only comes from Nandini's family..
