Trix and Kitsune

Kai (Chapter 1)

"Fifty four, fifty four, fifty four.. oh there it is!" I say as I was looking for my locker. Why is it always me that's late... I thought as I start rushing to class. Yesterday I was up till 3, taking down a Villian, again. My names Beatrice. Most people know me as Trix. I'm a superhero, as you can tell. No one knows who I am, just my older brother. He's protective when it comes to me. I want to tell my friends, im just scared they'll think I'm a different person than I am. I also have a partner. His names Kitsune. He's a fox. We have a weird relationship. We act all lovey but we aren't in a relationship. We don't know who we are. We meet up when there's a villian, and part our ways until next time. That's about it

I run into class right as the bell rings. The teacher gives me a stern look as she says, "And why are you late Beatrice?" I respond with a small sorry as she rolls her eyes and goes back to the lesson. I look to my right and see my best friend, Amara, telling me to go sit next to her. I run up to her and sit down as I whisper my hi's. After 30 painful minutes, the bell rings. Thankfully, I get to go to lunch now! I tell Amara I'll catch up later as I'm gonna go buy something outside of school. I walk out as I see the bakery. This bakery has been here ever since I was 5. It's been one of my favorites. I walk in and say hi to Mary. She's the bakery shop owner. She looks at me and asks," You want your usual?" I chuckle as I let out a please. She goes to grab a chocolate croissant and a hot chocolate. Right as I'm gonna pay for it, I see her take the money and put it back into my hands. I start shaking my head as I hear her say, "You've been supporting my bakery ever since you were little. The least I can do is let you take it for free. Buy yourself something nice" she says with a smile that seems like it never goes away.

"Thank you Mary. I'll have to buy you a tea next time I come" I say as she chuckles and says her goodbyes. As I'm walking out of the store, I bump into a guy, almost making me drop my coffee. I did drop my croissant though. As I see my croissant on the floor, I start whining in my head, "That was supposed to be my dessert for today" i whisper as I pick it up and look at the guy that's already looking at me.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you! I could buy you a new croissant if you would like!" He says as he repeats, I'm sorry over 3 times after that. I look at him as I shake my head, "No I'm ok. Don't worry. Did u just move in?" I ask as I've never seen him around here.

"Yea, just moved into the corner house!" He says, excited. Maybe I'll see him around then.

As I'm about to continue the conversation, I hear a large "BOOM". As I turn around, I see Abyss. One of the villians that got away. I have to stop him. I look at the guy, as I tell him "Go find somewhere safe to hide!" As I'm about to run off, I feel his hand grab mine as he says, "I'm Kai by the way" I hear him say before he runs off, leaving me there alone. Well that was... interesting
