Valper was looking at the Excalibur pieces that Freed managed to get as he examined them with keen interest.

But what really was interesting was the conversation that was happening with Kai, Kazuma, Rias, and Sona.
Rias: Why did you decide to head out?! Don't you know that interfering with this is a big way to start a war?!
Sona: Whether you had an understandable reason or not, this was still all by means reckless!
Kazuma sighed as he looked at the two devil heiresses in the eye which caught them off guard for a bit.
Kazuma: You're right. And we're sorry. And while what we did was reckless, and you may not agree with how we done this, we got a lot of interesting results.
Rias and Sona looked at each other before looking at Kazuma with a raised eyebrow.
Rias: Interesting as in how?
Kazuma: Well, it turns out that bastard Freed is still alive.
Rias: Really?!
Sona: Hold on, who is Freed?
Kai: He was the stray exorcist who allied himself with the Fallen Angels in order to try and steal Asia's Sacred Gear. And we thought Kiba killed him, but this appearance says otherwise.
Kiba: Hey, I was about to kill him, but he did a Thanos on me, and disappeared like one of those villains you see on Saturday shows.
Saji: Oh, which one?
Kiba: I can't remember, but it did have this cool looking knight there.
Saji: Oh, that is Shining Knight Silverion! I loved that show!
Kiba: Oh yeah same-
