EVERYTHING WAS NOT, IN FACT, GOING TO BE OKAY. sidney had called back the next morning saying the killer called her. she explained to the couple that the killer had mimicked her mothers voice and that there had been another murder. sarah darling who played the character of candy. they suspected that that was supposed to be like a cici character.

"i think i'm gonna go to the police."

delilah and randy's eyes both widened. "you're leaving?"

"i can't hide forever. are you two coming with me?"

the couple looked at each other before delilah spoke. "yeah, we're coming."

randy drove. they were all anxious about being in public and had heard of the third killing. delilah's leg bounced as they got closer to the station. randy noticed and placed his hand on her knee. she looked over and smiled at her boyfriend.

sidney sat in the back, staring out the window, her mind in a different place. she couldn't believe she had heard her mothers voice. but she had.

as they arrived they all stepped out. randy grabbed delilah's hand as sidney led the way. they walked through the doors and immediately spotted dewey.

"sid!" he exclaimed. sidney and dewey hugged. he looked over his shoulder and saw randy and delilah. they both smiled widely.

delilah released her boyfriends hand and ran towards her brother figure. his arms were open wide as she flung into them. "lila." he sighed, keeping his arms securely around her.

"jeez, dew, i thought you'd be more excited to see me." randy said sarcastically. dewey riley go of delilah and have randy a bro hug. "good to see you man."

"what are you guys doing down here?" dewey asked, looking at the trio.

sidney smiled. "actually, what we're we doing up there." randy and delilah chuckled. the group looked him over and noticed he had a cut about his head.

"jeez, dewey are you okay?" delilah asked, looking at his wound.

"i'm alright." dewey shrugged off.

"is she alright?" sidney asked, referring to gale.

"hey, you know gale."dewey said, rolling his eyes slightly. "it's take a direct hit."

they laughed briefly before sidney started back up again. "so the news said this was the precinct. who's this guy kincaid."

"he sounds like a dork." delilah commented.

dewey grabbed sidney's arm and gestured for the other two to follow. "i told you three to stay hidden. it's not safe."

"the killer called her." randy said, folding his arms over his chest.

"what?" dewey breathed out.

"yeah he found me."sidney explained. "and if he found me he found them." she pointed at randy and delilah. "we're no more safe there than we are here and at least here we're not alone."

dewey sighed before walking past them, they followed. they walked into a room. "detective kincaid."

gale whipped around when she heard dewey's voice. dewey leaned against the door. "there's a few people here who want to help."

gales eyes were wide. "oh my God. sidney. delilah. randy?" she turned to kincaid. "is the man fast or what?"

the trio walked through the door, delilah kept a firm grip on randy's hand. sidney hugged gale first followed by delilah and then randy.

"we're glad you're okay." delilah said with a smile.

"sid, lila, rand, this is detective kincaid." dewey introduced them to the dreamy detective.

"nice to finally meet you." he shook everyone's hands but kept his eyes on sidney for much longer. delilah turned to randy to see if he noticed—he did. the two of them smirk.

sidney looked at dewey. "the killer called sidney."

"what?" kincaid said instantly. "when?"

"what'd he say?" gale questioned.

"oh you know, the usual small talk, 'what's new, how you been, how do you wanna die?'." sidney said, placing her bag down on a chair.

"isn't he just grand." delilah sarcastically shaking her head. "you know, i'd love to befriend this guy."

everyone glared at her. "i'm kidding."

"sidney do you have any idea how he could've gotten your number?" dewey asked, ignoring delilah.

sidney shook her head as kincaid began to speak. "he could've monitored her calls on a scanner. did you call her from the set?"

dewey blinked sarcastically. "no."

"do you have her number stored in your memory?" gale asked. dewey looked up questioningly. "phone memory!"

"oh yeah, i guess i do." dewey replied.

"has anyone else ever used your phone?" gale asked.

"just jennifer." dewey said. "and you." he looked at kincaid.

"who's jennifer?" randy asked with raised eyebrows.

"later." dewey mouthed.

"hey i'm the cop here."kincaid defended. "you're in my office, riley.",

sidney circled around them and walked up to the board. 3 pictures that were in black and whit r were pinned in a row.

"the killer leaves a photograph after each number, sidney." kincaid explained. delilah stepped on her tiptoes to see what they were seeing.

she gasped when she saw them. they were pictures of maureen prescott.

"they were taken in hollywood at the same studio they're shouting stab 3." gale added.

"why didn't you tell me?" sidney asked with her soft voice. she scoffed. "this is my mother dewey. wbu didn't you'd say something?"

"i was afraid they were bait." dewey said. "something to, you know, trick you out of hiding.",

"sidney was she an actress or a model?" gale asked. "they look a lot like publicity stills."

"i, uh, don't know." sidney stuttered. "detective, i wanna see this place in the pictures."

"are you sure?" kincaid asked.

"absolutely."

"great we've got the band back together with a new added member." delilah said. the group stared at her as randy nudged her. "what?"
