As Sara opened her eyes, she gasped. A white, empty field surrounded her. White, droopy flowers surrounded her feet. She looked around rapidly, her heartbeat racing. "Sara?" She jumped at a cold hand being placed on her shoulder, turning around. She froze up as she saw Shin, but he was white, his clothing, his skin, his hat. His eyes were shaded out, and his smile was large, with black goop flowing out. "Who are you?" Sara asked, her voice quivering. The wind picked up, flapping her hair gently, and made the grass dance around her. "What happened to me? What's going -" Suddenly, she gasped again. "How did I get here?"

Shin laughed, clasping his chest. "Kanna noticed you were stressed, so while you dream today, you'll be here, Sara!" The ginger gently smiled at the teal haired boy, slowly standing up. "I.....I missed you, Shin." Sara hugged Shin, trying not to sob. "You don't need to lie, Sara, I know you don't like me..." Sara shook her head, pulling away from him, tears streaming down her cheeks. "But I can't tell anyone about this, okay? Please, Shin... just keep your mouth shut!" Sara said in an urgent tone of voice, looking into his eyes intensely. Shin sighed, looking away. "Alright...."

Shin took Sara's hand and started to walk. The soft rustling of the flowers against Sara and Shin's shoes was all that could be heard. And even then, it wasn't quiet enough for Sara to hear the words Shin spoke softly. "You've been dreaming, Sara. About Kanna and me.""Dreaming?" Sara blinked her bright purple eyes at him. He nodded, looking back at her. "Yeah. Do you remember how I didn't trust you?" Shin laughed once again. "I don't now, of course." They continued walking until they came across a small pond. Shin stopped walking, looking intently into the pond as if he had some sort of vision there. Or maybe he was remembering something from his time before meeting Sara. Sara looked over his shoulder curiously, squinting her eyes. Shin's expression didn't change, still looking down into the pond as if he knew something, but he didn't elaborate.

Sara stared at him for a moment longer until Shin suddenly broke eye contact with the pond, looking at the girl beside him instead. Shin's voice dropped to a low whisper. "... You miss us. Joe, Kanna, me... maybe not Mishima, but the point is that you cared and missed us." Sara felt a slight sting in her chest when Shin mentioned Joe. She missed Joe a lot, and her chest hurt whenever she thought about him. But, she tried to push that pain aside. It wasn't her fault. Right? Right?! Her heart ached.

Sara looked back into the pond and watched as the ripples caused by some animal swimming in the water moved further apart from each other. "Do you remember what you told me?" Sara turned her gaze away from the water, looking back at Shin."Oh...yes." Shin chuckled softly. "I told you that no matter what happens, you will never let us disappear. And I mean it, Sara." Sara's eyes softened, and she smiled at him. "We're not gone forever." He squeezed her hands gently before letting go of her grip.

"But, Sara, you can't save everyone. Not now." Soon, Sara felt the floor fall under her, and suddenly she was falling into the darkness below. She screamed, feeling as she fell faster than a cannonball into the dark abyss. Her screams died out after seconds later as a loud crash sounded somewhere in front of her. Soon, she fell onto the floor. Sara sat up, looking around, confused. Her eyes widened when she saw a man standing right in front of her. The man held a piece of metal in his hands. A weapon that she didn't recognize. "sARa." Sara knew who it was. "Alice..." Sara whispered. She got up and stepped away from the man, looking away.

"Hey, SARA...." His voice sounded distorted and broken. "WHY did you LET ME die..." Alice raised his arm and pointed it right at Sara, aiming it at her. "I'm...sorry...Please...." Sara huried away, sobbing loudly. She suddenly banged into a wall, and she stood up, covering her face in fear. Soon, a girl ran into Alice and pushed her to the ground. "Reko?!" Alice sat up and started to talk to Reko. Sara quietly walked away and started to run, running as far as she could. Soon, she ran into someone else, hugging the person as a response. She looked up and saw Midori... Midori? Who is Midori...? "Hi..." Sara squeaked, looking at Midori. Midori seemed to freeze up, holding onto Sara tightly. "Midori, what did I do to deserve this?" Sara pulled away, her heart dropping when she saw Midori's face, which was completely devoid of emotion.

Midori stared off into nothingness, her blank eyes glazed over. "Midori?" She reached forward, touching Midori's shoulder, but Midori recoiled violently, his blank eyes wide. "Midori?! Hey, listen!" She grabbed Midori by the shoulders, making him look at her. Midori flinched away. "I can help you escape. The people here, other than Shin and Kanna, aren't the friends you remember." Midori smiled and offered his hand out to Sara. Sara hesitated but took Midori's hand.
