I rolled my eyes boredly. Saan ba kasi tumatambay 'yang kapatid niya nang matyempuhan ko.
I was convincing Chloe straight for a week. Hindi naman sa gusto ko ring magpasipsip sa kapatid niya pero naririndi na ako sa excuse niya lagi na magagalit ang kapatid niya pag nakita kaming magkasama.
"Hindi nga siya nagbabasketball," ulit niya nang samahan ko siya sa National Bookstore dahil may gusto siyang bilhing libro.
"Gym? Mukhang hindi 'yon nagg-gym..." Ngisi ko, gustong kutyain ang patpating katawan ng kapatid niya pero pinigilan ko lamang ang sarili.
She didn't answer it and focused on getting the book she wanted for herself. I boredly put my hands into my pocket and watched her enjoy herself on books until she decided to buy them, which I insisted on paying for.
I don't know what kind of book it was, but it's related to engineering? After buying the book, I took her to the nearest restaurant so we could dine in, at least.
