One-Sided

~ari part 1~

My alarm screams in my ear, startling awake. I pick my phone up and turn the alarm off and plop it down on my bed, laying on my stomach and hugging my pillow, I go back to sleep. 

"ARIIIIII!!" 

I sigh, "Que mami?"  

"You better actually get your ass up!" I sigh again, half laughing this time. 

"Of course I will, don't worry." I roll my legs from underneath me and manage to steady myself enough to stand. I walk over to my window to check for Kyla, no sign of her yet I think then a light turns on in her room. She doesn't have any curtains or blinds covering her window, kinda dumb if you ask me, but it makes watching her from a far just a little bit easier. I see her walk past the window and smirk a little while I walk back to my dresser grabbing an outfit. I pick out some brown cargo pants, an oversized beige t-shirt, a black beanie, and my vans. I spend a moment looking for my glasses, finding them in a pile of trash on my nightstand, I should really clean my room more often, maybe I'll-

"ARIIIIIIIIII!!!!!"

"Mami, que pasa? Soy en mi cuarto!" I start walking towards the kitchen, stomping in a way, "Necesito limpair-"

"Laura aqui." I turn to the door and see my one of my closest friends, well my only friend really. She's standing there really awkwardly, fiddling with her hands weirdly. She's a lot like me, I think that's why we bonded, but when she moved here it didn't seem like she has much of a personality, she was kind of just there and she probably just imprinted on me because I was really the only person to talk to her or be nice to her at all. Everyone at school is either a jackass or an asshole, except Kyla that is. She's sweet but she's good at standing up for herself to the other jackasses and assholes. 

"Are you ready to go?" Laura says, interrupting my thoughts. 

I smile at her, "Yeah, of course!"
