Even as a kid I got alot of opportunities to do some traveling but well alot of those places would of changed alot since I went there
The ones I've been too since then definitely did change alot and it's been a couple of years again now so would of changed alot again

My first lot of travel that I can remember I was 4 it was a trip to Fraser island
The main thing I can remember is climbing in a paper bark tree so my poppa could take a photo
And then falling out of the tree
There were a couple of other little trips here and there like family trips to the snow

The main trip that will always stick with me and I so need to redo it with my kids before my son gets too old is when I went up to Alice Springs with my Nanna, poppa and mum
Made some many friends along that trip at every little sight I stopped at, got to go in a helicopter over waterfalls and wild horses, even got to ride a Camel
Seen as far as I know all the sights and I can remember a hidden trail where we went behind a lake and found some old fossils in the rocks, for the life of me I don't know where that was and well they all don't remember where apparently so I'm going to try and find it again
Didn't climb Uluru as my Nanna was a bit heavy with the aboriginal beliefs and rights
Which I completely understand, we are of that blood ourselves through her, not that you would be able to tell.
my grandmother was 1/2 aboriginal god rest her soul but she looked as white as white could be and my grandfather well Ive always gotten told mixed things, never got too meet him but I know he was at least 1/2 as well but his skin was darker so there was never denying that we got it from him (my mum done some research and I think she said he was 3/4) yet all their kids ended up with the lighter skin just like my grandmother and as the generations have gone on we continue too look less aboriginal but you can never change our bloodlines and the history that comes from it

went to the great barrier Reef in my teens but I know for a fact that has changed alot since
The bleaching problems with the Corel has gotten worse as the years have gone on which effects sea life so it slowly effects the hole of Australia
I remember beautiful colours in the Corel and diving down as deeps as I could with the fish with just a snorkel and fins
Felt a bit like a mermaid that day

I here there are people working hard doing what they can too fix the reef and it is slowly getting better but from what I've seen its still not back too how I remember it being when I was a teenage
Which is a shame that we let it get that damaged before realising the harm it would make too the rest of the ecosystem
I'm actually enjoying watching some of the videos Ive seen get posted from the people doing the work, you should try find some and check them out each time I see another video it's always looking better so there is hope
it's great watching the great barrier Reef slowly get better and hopefully by the time I'm able to take my kids there the reef will be alot better maybe even back to how I remember it
Fingers crossed
