“How do you know if your feelings or your love are true?” Ms. Jennifer asked in the middle of her discussion in philosophy. “How about you, Rein?”

Rein was a little bit surprised, but just ended up slowly standing up and exhaling. I don't know if it's intentional. Not to be a gossiper, but we find out that she has never been in a relationship or been in love since birth, and she doesn't know how to love at all. She has a lot of suitors, but none of them have hooked her heart.

His father was a governor of our town at hindi na ako magtataka kung strikto sa kan'ya ang tatay niya.

“I think, ma'am, love is something we feel unforced, yet it gives you peace and doesn't hurt you at all,” she exclaimed, which is pretty lame for me.

I know she's wrong. Love wasn't like that. I don't know the exact definition of love, but I know it is different from what we expect. Oo, it is more genuine if it's an unforced feeling, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt you. Ika-nga sa kanta ni Ed Sheeran, 'loving can hurt sometimes,'

Hey,” my seatmate, Shaun. How's your application form for college?”

“I haven't passed it yet.

“Really? Ano bang kurso kukuhanin mo?” He asked, then grabbed his pen and he started taking down notes while Ms. Jennifer discussed.

"Architecture, sana, but I can sense that it wasn't my father's preferred course to take.” kinuha ko na rin ang ballpen ko para magnotes.

I exclaimed. I know dad was the kindest father I have, and I don't wish for another but he's not fond of art, and I doubt he will let me. Hindi n'ya nga ako pinayagan na sumali sa art club and he took my canvases.

I tried asking him why but he leave me no words. He always leave me no words.

Shaun stopped writing and looked at me seriously. His ocean eyes was to deep to read.

“It's up to you. Either susunod ka and take another course or continue architecture since it's your future that's on the line.”

I was silenced.
