Judging criteria

Following is the judging criteria which I will follow for the screening round. This will also be the same criteria judges of the final round will follow.

Judging criteria for categories- experience, combined and short story

Title (10)
How unique and relevant to the story is the title?

Cover (10)
How clean, creative and relevant to the book is the cover? Does it attract the readers?

Prologue (10)
Does it make the reader more engaged with the story? Is it interesting?
those book which doesn’t have a prologue, the first chapter will be considered here.
For graphics and arts book, the first picture will be considered here.

Grammar and Vocabulary (10)

Flow of story and writing style (15)
How is the flow of story? Is it easily readable? Does it hold the curiosity of the reader?

Randomity (5)
How random is the book?

Description (5)
Is there any description of a thing, scenery or thoughts? How visualizing is it?

Emotions(5)
Did you feel any emotion while reading the book?

Innovation(10)
How creative is the idea behind writing the book ?

Judging criteria for graphics and arts book (creative category B)

Title (10)
How unique is the name of the graphic shop or the art book? 

Cover (10)
How creative is the cover? Does it attract people?

Overall look of the best art or graphic of the book (10)
How is the color scheme? Is it visually appealing?

Creativity and technical  skill(15)
How creative and unique are the arts and graphics? How dedicated and hard working was the artist?

Originality (5)
How original is the graphics or art? Or is it cliche?

Personal vision(5)
Does the graphics or arts carry a message for the viewers?

Quality (5)
Is the graphics blur or clear?
