oh, my love..
I don't know if you can hear me..
You're so high above,
And your ears are ringing.

But still, as you read your cards and books..
Listen to our old records,
And dodge those judgmental looks,
I hope you still enjoy the creaking of older floor boards.

I hope you still love Navy Blue.
I pray you still adore the little things I used to do.
I know I sparked a fire,
But I wish I was your Roman Empire.

The situation was dire.
It was you that I'd inspire.
You always said I was a loud crier.
Well, looks like that changed, too.

And still, as I spent my days thinking,
As I stepped forward to meet your eyes,
Even as I fled the scene,
As I felt like dying..

...After all this time and pain, it's still you.
It's always been you.
That's what makes me blue,
It's always going to be you.

I see your face in every place,
And when I do, I feel like a disgrace.
My mind is a maze,
And my heart is still ablaze.

Your body felt like a fireplace,
I wish I was still your favorite place..
All you and I did was shower each other with love,
So what made you leave so soon..?

All I ask, all you need to do for me...
