"Jamie, I need your help. Look at my hair," Jackie said removing the towel from her head revealing blonde streaks running through her dark hair.

"Oh my god, what have you done," Jamie asked standing up to get a better look.

"It wasn't me. Please tell me you can fix it," Jackie pleads.

"I can," Jamie starts.

"Oh thank god," Jackie breaths a sigh of relief.

"But not till after school. I'll need to buy some hair dye," Jamie says causing Jackie to groan and face plant the bed.

"Okay. Here's what we'll do. I'll put your hair in a low bun and then we will stick a hat on. How does that sound," Jamie asks looking at her sisters whose face is still buried in her bed.

"That sounds good," Jackie mumbled from the bed.

"Good now you get ready and I'll go find a hat," Jamie says making her way downstairs and picking up a hat that was hung up, she turned round to make her way up stairs only to be stopped by Cole.

"Morning, Sunshine," Cole greets, a sly smile playing on his lips, as she reaches the bottom of the stairs.

Jamie forces a tight smile, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Cole," she replies, her tone laced with a hint of disdain.

"What's with the hat? It doesn't really match your outfit," He smirks.

"It's none of your business," she retorts, throwing him a sharp glare.

Jamie's nostrils flare, the tension vibrating in the air as she clenches her fists. "It's not for me," she hisses, her voice dripping with venom.

Cole's lips curl into an arrogant smirk as he steps closer, invading her personal space, testing her boundaries. "Who's it for then?" he prods, his voice dripping with condescension and a hint of desire.

Jamie rolls her eyes, her patience worn thin. With a firm push, she shoves him aside, her movements conveying her annoyance. "None of your business, Cole," she snaps, her words laced with contempt. She makes her way upstairs, determined to escape his infuriating presence and see Jackie, who is waiting for her, dressed and ready to go.

The tension between them is palpable, a brewing storm of attraction and disdain that hangs heavy in the air. As Jamie disappears from his sight, Cole can't help but smile knowingly, reveling in the electric animosity that crackles between them.

"Here, put this on. It'll at least cover up the hair," Jamie suggests, handing over the hat to Jackie.

Jackie reluctantly takes the hat and places it on her head, trying to hide the blonde streaks. Jamie starts fixing Jackie's hair into a low bun, making sure it's secure. She takes a step back to assess the result.

"You know what? It actually doesn't look that bad," Jamie says, giving Jackie a reassuring smile. "With the hat and the bun, it's barely noticeable."

Jackie looks at herself in the mirror, still unsure. "Are you sure?"

Jamie nods. "Absolutely. Trust me, it's not as bad as you think. Besides, nobody will really notice once we get to school, especially with the hat on."

Jackie takes a deep breath, finally feeling a bit more relieved. "Okay, if you say so."

Jamie chuckles. "I promise, it's not the end of the world. And after school, we can fix it properly with the hair dye. It'll be back to normal in no time."
