"Tell me." He nodded, waiting for her to talk.
"Because I don't want to repeat the same mistake. I don't want to get hurt by your words. I don't want to get treated badly by you. I don't want to get yelled and called names such as stupid bitch or whore. I'm not stupid. I'm just kind. I'm too kind because that's how my mom raised me. To be kind and respectful."
She goes silent after her words. A little shock yet relieved after getting to let out what she had been held in her sweet tongue.
