Ch. 21 Adoption

Your Point of View

I was putting in the littlest amount of effort into the class I was in right now, just to do something until school was finally done for today, and plus, today is a Friday, and Ririka promised me to take me out to see the cats today

I slight smile formed on my face as I quickly hide it as I look down at my desk, I was so giddy, but we have to go home and change first, which I don't really mind, as long as I can get the cat that I want, I don't care how long it takes

As the bell rang for the end of school, I stood up and gathered my things, ready to get going, I was approached by Yumeko and asked me to go to the gambling hall, I for once in my life respectfully declined the offer as I walked out of the classroom and to the student council room

People moved out of the way as I walked while looking at my phone, scrolling through the potential options for the cats, as I reached the door, I opened it and peaked my head in, everyone was here, being themselves, so normal, so, so boring

I step in and close the door behind me, as my shoes clicked on the polished tile I walk over and greeted the people that deserved my time and attention, Runa

After I stole a couple of her suckers and stuffed them in my pocket, I made my way to Ririka's office and opened the door, stepping inside and closing the door, I look over to see Miss Vice President still working on, whatever it is that she is working on

I close the door behind me, making my presence known to her, I threw my bag on the couch and walked my way to the mini fridge and took out one of the Capresuns that we had in there, I sat on the couch and took a sip of the drink as I waited for Ririka to finish whatever she's doing

I took sips of the drink while laying on my side, my eyes never leaving the person that was sitting at her desk, and I could tell that she can tell that I am watching her from how pink her cheeks were

After a moment or two I finished the drink pack and tossed it in the garbage bin as I continued to lay on the couch, now bored and with nothing to do

Ririka: "I'm almost done princess, can you wait a little longer?"

I just let out a groan as I slide off of the couch and dragged my feet over to her desk, draping my arms around her neck as I lean agents her

Lucifer: "Can we go now?"

I groan, she just let out a sigh as she shook her head with a slight smile on her face

Ririka: "I just told you that I'm almost done, can you wait a bit longer?"

Lucifer: "Nope"

She then stopped typing and looked over at me, I had a pout on my face, her face grew red but her face remained neutral, she then wrapped her arm around my waist, pulling me in closer to her

I sat on her lap as one hand went back to working while the other was wrapped around my waist, making sure that I was balanced, I kept my arms around my waist as I sat there, unable to comprehend what is happening in the last couple of moments, but I don't really dislike it, and the physical touch is kind of nice for some odd reason because I really don't like being touched, but this is weird, weirdly nice

I put my head on her chest as she moved her hand from my waist to the keyboard, typing fast on the keys, it was rather comforting in the quiet and small room, and in this moment, I realize our size difference between us, her hands were bigger than mine, she was taller than me, no wonder why her clothes are more comfortable than mine, her hoodies especially

I then feel her adjust before gesturing me to get off, I was reluctant to get off since I was too comfortable but I did, fixed my skirt and coat before trotting off and sitting on the couch again, I watch her pack up her laptop, notebooks, and other stuff, my eyes lingered on her desk as I saw the water bottle that I bought her when she was sick, was like, a couple of days ago

Does she keep it in her bag now? She brings it to school now, I squint to look closer on it and there was writing on the outside, and it is in cursive, but I can't read it from here, I let out a sigh, leaning back on the couch as I chose to let go on why she has the water bottle with her

I hear some shuffling and the shifting of clothes before she was basically ready to go, I grabbed my bag as I stood up from the couch, Ririka then walked over to me and brushed her thumb agents my cheek

Ririka: "You seem tired, we should rest before we go out and buy that cat you want"

I subconsciously lean into her touch for a moment before scoffing an pushing her hand away from my face

Lucifer: "It's the weekend anyway, who cares?"

I look over to see her giving me a smile

Ririka: "Of course my love, shall we go home now?"

Soft blush formed on my face, I then look away, trying to hide my face

Lucifer: "Yeah.."

We exit her office, she said goodbye to her sister while I gave the chair sniffer the middle finger as I stuck my tongue out while I continued to walk, I could tell that she gotten slightly annoyed since I did hear her give out a scoff before I exited the council room

I take one of Runa's suckers out of my jacket pocket and took off the wrapper, dropping it on the floor as I took the candy in my mouth as I walked down the hallway and to the front of the school where the limo was supposed to be arriving shortly 

Once I made it to the entrance of the school, I leaned my back to one of the pillars in front of the school as I waited for Ririka to come and join me, as I was waiting, from the corner of my eye I saw a group of guys was loitering on school grounds after school, I could write them up, but that's too much work, and that is not really my forte, that's the pervert, I'm thinking about joining Runa's organization, watching and moderating the gambles that go on around here seems more fun than participating in them

I then noticed that the group of guys also noticed me and they were giggling and looking my way a couple of times, I'm pretty sure that they were egging each other on to possibly go up to me, flirt with me, not my first time, all of the average, and all of them boring

As the group started to come over to me but in the moment Ririka came out with all of her mask glory, she met up with me, and I made sure that the men watched as I took her hand in mine as we walked to the limo which was now waiting for us
