do nothing together

Nico was awake, he knew that

actually, when he thought about it he came to a conclusion that he was awake for a while and his mind refused to admit it.

"if i'm awake" Nico thought to himself "what did i gain that the sun doesn't blind me now?"

his boyfriend, Will Solace, insisted on leaving the curtains of their apartment open at night, and Nico had to deal with it every morning when the sunlight almost blinded him and forced him to get out of bed.

but this day, the light didn't come to his eyes

"am i dead?" Nico thought for a moment before he felt the combination of the familiar smell of shampoo and sunlight (writer's note: this is definitely kind of smell!)

someone - Will, it couldn't been anyone else - kissed Nico on the head and whispered in his ear "Time to wake up, Sunshine"

"what year is it?" Nico muttered, his eyes refusing to open

"just like yesterday" Will answered, an Nico could hear the smile in his voice

Nico's senses slowly began to return to him, still hazy from sleep.

He realized his face was buried in Will's chest and what he felt under his head and wasn't a pillow was actually Will's left arm.

He realized that their legs were intertwined, and when his eyes finally agreed to open he was face to face (or face to fabric?) with Will's white pajama shirt, which had "star wars" written on it in black letters.

"i don't want to wake up" Nico grunted into Will's nerdy shirt

"seriously death boy, you can't stay here all the day"

"first, dont call me death boy" Nico said

"i'll think about it" Will answered, his fingers play with Nico's black hair "What's the other thing?"

"i can. and you can, too"

"no, we can not"

"we can very much"

Nico once read a story by the philosopher Plato, who claimed that in ancient times all humans were composed of a combination of male and female.

each person had two heads, four arms, four legs.

according to the story, the combined humans were so strong that they overwhelmed the gods, and Zeus split them into two - male and female.

since then, humans have felt incomplete.

all their lives they are looking for their other half.

"and what does that mean about me?" Nico wondered to himself when he was fourteen

this means that Plato was wrong, because from the age of fourteen he understood that two halves do not have to be a man and a woman

and Nico was lucky to find Will, his other half, so early in his life.

"no, we can't" Will answered to him "and if I have to I'll drag you out of bed"

"no way, we stay here and do nothing" gods in the olympus, Nico loved Will
loved him so much it hurt
but it was a good pain
one that says you are alive

acually, love is not a strong enough word to describe what Nico felt

"do nothing together?" Will asked, and once again Nico heared the smile in his voice

Nico looked up, met Will's big blue eyes and smiled back "Yeah, doing nothing together"

Will smiled again and moved a little closer to Nico to kiss him gently on the lips.

"וgh, Will, brush your teeth!" Nico exclaimed with a half laugh

"rude" replied Will, also half laughing

then, as if from memorizing a script, the two approached each other

Nico raised his hands and held Will's face

Will, his fingers still in Nico's hair, brought Nico's face close to his

and they kissed, and everything was fine
